Hi,

I know this is a 'rare' model, but any forumers here who have driven, or heard about this car? Mitsubishi Pajero IO.

Need to know its performance wise, maintenance, etc. Basically anything about this car.

Thanks! notworthy.gif

Which model? The 1.8 or 3.0 V6? If 1.8, engine is same as Putra or Satria GTi, the 4G93.

My house have a Pajero but not IO.. It 2.4cc using petrol. What I can said about that car is GOOD.. FC is wise. pump RM80 can go 300km+-. About power, it more great especially at highway. You won't feel that you are hitting 160kmh. My house Pajero was maintaince nicely by my dad and do some modification. The suspension already cost him Rm2k+.

The thing I dun like about it is, about the wheel.. It so expensive. Rm400++ per tire.

How much does a full tank cost for your sisters Pajero io?

For comparison:-

My Kembara 1.3 auto fulltank plus minus RM5 is about RM70 everytime I refill.

My habit I'll reset the trip meter after refuel, average travel is 420km consistently until I need to refuel.

Average speed 80km/h. Max 120km/h on empty stretch of highway. I mostly travel between or around Cyberjaya and Puchong.

My parents drove a Pajero IO 1.8L GDi engine if not mistaken, it gave them problems such as the car would stall all of a sudden and we couldn't receive Malaysia radio channels. The car was purchase when it was launched @ Malaysia through Naza.

Added on September 28, 2008, 9:46 amIn the end we sold the car and the buyer changed the engine, it's also underpowered.
