Asus motherboard comes with 2 years warranty, if it is more than 2 years, I don't think their service centre will repair for you even if you wanted to pay for the charges.
you may try send it to Imbi Plaza there, I think there is some shops there will do repairing for desktop's motherboard and notebook's motherboard, just make sure you get a honest shop. I've seen many units Asus motherboard tend to no display in the past, no matter it is for AMD or Intel, really no confidence in Asus anymore..For AM2, why not go for MSI or Abit ? seldom see them fail after the warranty period.
