I was laid up in Sunway a few years ago with a pulmonary embolism--the facilities and nurses were nice, but the doctors/specialists had amazingly poor bedside manners--it was always an uphill battle to get them to provide any additional context beyond test results and to answer even one or two follow-up questions.
I understand that health professionals are super busy, but I think it's unwarranted for a doctor to a) snap at you when you ask about the common side effects of a long-term medication they have prescribed and b) snap at you again when you ask if there is any additional information to read on your own after he refuses to answer a).
