I need some help here. My psp (v4.01 M33-2) wont boot up. But if i took out the memory stick, it can boot up perfectly. I just done upgrade from V3.90M33-3 to the latest M33 firmware. I can get into the M33 Recovery Menu but the psp wont boot up to XMB. Anyway, here's the info on the Recovery menu, i hope someone can help me about the settings here.

Configuration
skip sony logo -> disable
hide corrupt icons -> disable
game folder homebrew -> currently 4.XX kernel
autorun program at /PSP/GAME/BOOT/EBOOT.PBP -> disable
UMD Mode -> normal umd required
fake region -> disabled
use vshmenu -> enable
xmb usb device -> mem stick
charge batt when usb cable plugged -> disable
use m33 network update -> enabled
hide pic0.png & pic1.png in game menu -> disable

I hope someone out there can help me with my settings.

this is very very complicating. So what card is good for PSP? MSPD, M2 OR MicroSD.

go here.. n compare urself

http://forums.maxconsole.net/showthread.php?t=50005

as far as i concern.. if u wanna compare microSDHC speed, u should compare with m2 ultra, MSPD ultra or MSPD HIGH SPEED.

Dont compare with normal MSPD n normal M2, unless u use normal microSD.

yes for the write speed part, but only for class 6 microSDHC... but for reading,normal Sandisk MSPD still the fastest, around 15MiB/s while microSDHC only around 8MiB/s which is almost the same with non-ori MSPD.

M2 actually have the same reading n write speed as MSPD, but maybe because of the adapter, the reading speed also only around 8MiB/s ... same like microSDHC.

anyway the fastest reading speed on psp is around 15~16MiB/s ... u not gonna get more than that even u use MSPD Ultra or high speed version. The diffrent is only in writing speed. So u can transfer ur backup game faster, thats all.

Tested my 8G microSD speed already and both read and write speed is near 10MBps. So I guess Sandisk MSPD is still faster.

I need help...
I got myself a PSP with firmware 3.90 m33 -3 with 4 gig "high speed" memory stick.
I loaded FFCrisis Core into the memory stick and try playing it. It was playing the opening movie when you just started playing for the first time and after halfway through, it hanged. Why did this happen? When I inserted my friend's memory stick, it has no problem so I suspected the shop retailer sold me a shit up memory stick.

I upgraded the package to RM750 which he says is a high speed but I checked with blackspeed and it's PI is only 265 which is WTF to me...
Some more he did compare the slow speed with the current one. I'm so screwed... when I realised he never ever had a real high speed memory stick. The one I'm currently having is a little lower than regular speed but he's charging for high speed.

He did says it's fake sony but high speed. Now that I think about it, it's totally bulls and shits.

Planning to get a new PSP with a 4 GB memory stick ... Any recommendation ? Some trustable and nice seller as long as the price is reasonable. I know cheap stuff always come with bad things. By the way, I'm in KL ...
