well some r larger 1s..but no point getting those...review said that it's worse than original battery..don't even last as long as the original 1200..so i think don't bother..still hunting for made in japan battery ..

psp overheat? not really..it does not really overheat..as for the video part, additional slowing down the video feature been added..

depends on urself..psp modded already is also original (both sony and those shops has the same type of psp..) sony shops sell psp (which means u only get the console at 799) while for those at shop..i think it's possible to obtain full set at 799 (inclusive of 4gb memory card)

repair wise..usually if parts is self repair of coz..for sony,i think they warranty it but that depends too..not too sure bout that..

last firmware is 4.01m33-2..battery does not relate to firmware..as for ur friend's psp, his memory stick might b faulty already...doubt it's because of the psp fall down..freeze and hang? care to explain more on that?
