Hi guys, I have a question in mind. I had odered a PSP and it will deliver to me today. What I am wondering is how to launch the PSX game A.K.A Eboot.PBP file from the PSP? I know I had to place them into the certain path of PSP, and I need a custom firmware too. But is that all? Why am I keep hearing people saying that I need to do about the POPSTATION thingy?

I see, so in order to launch the PSX game of EBoot, the PopsLoader is essential? Or is it come with the CFW.

I'm afraid not. Your PSP must ave custom firmware to play ISO games.

Guys, can someone advise what software to use for converting video to PSP compatible modes. I tried 7-8 softwares but nothing good so far.

Thanks.

I have tried to ask few shop and they said 'putting' in custom firmware into the firmware version > 4 is not possible now.

Is that true?

Does that mean I am stuck with my ori 4.01 firmware for now?

lol... It's possible to reflash to custom firmware with ur PSP's current version. The current up-to-date CFW is 4.01 M33. However, You'll have to downgrade it to 1.50 then upgrade to 4.01 M33 with a Pandora Battery and a magic memory stick.

Btw, I'll check out d total video converter. Thanx for d advice.

Cheers
