Hey there, my Syrian male, he was licking at a long-ish red thing, I cant be sure if it's the scent gland or the genital part? I first saw him licking that part earlier today and it looked bloody, I thought he was injured. But when I go check, it's not there, I mean, all I see is furry part and no sign of blood.

What he did earlier, was he pleasuring himself (can hamster do that?) or is he injured?

It was long and bloody a little, I'm sure of that. What was it?

you could try putting a ceramic bowl underneath. Like in my tank setup (a few pages back) I put my ceramic ashtray (never used) as the food bowl under the water bottle - mainly coz worried Kiki can't reach it. LOL! and it'll catch any drips (tho I doubt the living world one drips)

your WW is still young is it? If it is, get a wheel suitable for small syrians, cause WW can grow quite big also. Last time i bought a wheel, (common wheel seen in stores, got pink and yellow ones) - i bought the pink one, when my WW grew bigger he couldn't use the wheel liao..
