btw, i saw these colored hammies in pet family too, i'm not sure if i should mention the petshop name here, but it's real cruel to dye hammies fur like that. it's like destroying their originality, if they use great dose of chemical substances, it's torturing! poor hammies to suffer for human idiotic behaviors..

I saw the colored hamster again just now at Pet Family. The color has faded quite a bit from the first time I saw it. In other words... The hamsters have ingested the colors...

Same as Ferro when I bought him back. I think they don't have a wheel where we got them so they discovered a new toy. Plus, it probably helps them to de-stress themselves so let them for a bit.

My Ferro is still an incessant runner on the wheel (explains why he doesn't gain a lot of weight compared to Roche who runs a less) but at least he comes when he's called.

Actually, is not too big. The bigger the wheel, the more muscle the hamster would need to use it. Also, the size was made to suit Syrians and russian dwarf hamsters. I think Robos may have a bit of problem with it. Anyway, their backs also won't injure.

Hun, the one in the picture is not from Pet Family. The ones in Pet Family are lighter in color. Powdery colors. These are really dark.

when i get a new hammie, i usually check their sleeping posture then only try to approach them. you can know whether if a hammie feels secure with the house

Try to give vege with green leafs, they like leaf vege rather than those vege like broccoli.

Finally got a name for our new baby ----> TimTim. He able and not afraid of us already. He now will climb up on our hand and walk around. I manage to take him by hand rather than scope him out from the tank just now, just not used to be handle yet. He adapted quite well now.

He wanna pay RM30-40 for a satin? That's cheap, I paid RM45 for my black banded last time. If there's a satin, I believe the price can go very high if you manage to get one here.
