and when they walk on your hands, will they cling on you or?

my hamster ah, their grip not bad wor.. can walk on my whole arm without falling.. unless when they wanna suicide, then they will purposely slip & fell lo.. that's y i always play with them on my bed..

Any of u cut their hamster finger nail??Using baby nail clipper or special clipper??

I think my hammy finnger nail really long ler because when climb to my hand can felt their nail so sharp one...

erm, my Ocha is still new, so i just need to know how they grip on us when they're new/untame ler. cause im still a newbie at untamed hamsters.
he climb my hand just to escape from the cage.

i cut my ww's fingernails.
using any nail clipper i can find. =/ just as long as u noe how to cut properly.

yup hah i guess she too big to fall in

not sure wor.. didn't weight her for soem time loh

I was trying to scrape the smoothie just now. I started poking it with a spoon to produce some shaved smoothie. Then the spoon went right through the smoothie and the plastic container. Now I dunno where to find another small container.

Roche feels noticeably heavier. Ferro still doesn't like my hand.. Sigh....

so ganas one you. use the kfc container for mash potatoes/coleslaw. its roughly the same size as the sample one.

Can we actually cut the nails of the hamster? Im scared accidently cut its fingers

put in a cup then. u can take the Nutri-Smoothie down in the fridge for 30 mins. then easier for u to scrape it or get a ice cube tray(small cube) for next Nutri-Smoothie, if you like to continue. that will make it easier.

sorry i didn't fully follow the thread, may i know how old is Roche?


hmmm so far i didn't clip and don't feel they long wor.. how about u just fail fail the nail?

my other syrian still scare of hand.. she thinks my hand is monster.. wakaka
she is not sleeping although in the day.. running the wheel desperately..a little sound she will wake, she has not sleep peacefully = =.. just like my tame one when she 1st time come to me..is this happen because she has not suit to the environment????
i only remember i tame the other 1 week later, now she is too lazy to move= =

i think will leave her alone for 1 week 1st until i get back from outstation, in the mean time, my housemate is keeping an eye on them

yes they feel unsecure. once animal feel they are at home.. they will sleep until 4 legs in the air. kakkaka

hmmm not so sure, but u can try put some tissue in her cage/tank. see if she pull the tissue into the house?

sit beside her cage/tank everyday, very soon she will know u do no harm to her.

Well, she's longer and definitely fatter. She looks so nice! Roche is definitely older. I'm estimating her to be around 1 month plus. Ferro is slightly smaller but gaining in size. He's growing furrier, Hair becoming so lebat.

Roche is a short hair syrian, so I can see how much weight she puts on. Since he's a long hair syrian, Ferro only looks like a big puffball now. Not sure how much of the size is flesh. I just notice that his fur is thicker and longer. Both have very soft fur.

I think crazymouse won't be able to sex next time also, my Ferro. Even more hairy at the underparts.

Ferro is syrian right.. if its a he, he will have big ball. if no ball = female

Can we put tissue in the tank? Im always worried when the hamster stuffs it all in its mouth, it'll get wet and torn up inside the mouth so I usually give serviettes (which are harder to tear).

Guys, can i use for a week pine bedding? Cos, the store that have Chipsi is only open on Sundays and tomorrow i have to go to KL.
