could be just PSU connectors loose or having specific rails overloaded and by unplugging and replugging it (possibly connecting the crucial components such as the graphic card on different rails via different power connectors) solves it.

ST560 is a 2 rail psu after all, so theres a chance that all of his important hardware are connected to that one 12v rail, and added oc'ing, overtime the psu will get stressed out and eventually give out, so it wont be noticeble at first. (its a silverstone psu afterall, so it will last)

also, if its static electricity, i doubt the pc will still be running.

i'm suffering from sudden low fps during raids and bgs =(

even though i set my resolution to low and the rest low-mid, i still get around 5-9 fps. occasionally jumps to 30+ then goes back down to 5+.

I wanna contribute my experience to this as well...
My PC ain't that great but it's ok... C2D 1.8ghz and 2mb ram

anyways, i've experienced in a couple of times where my fps dropped to 20 - 40ish...
I tried restarting WoW but that didn't work... after about 10 mins, fps went back to normal.
I alt+tab only to find out because my antivirus was running its schedule scan :S
