if mostly for gaming?which one will performe better?

another thing , is E2160 able to overclock to 3ghz without increasing the Vcore? (not using hardmodded)

go for 5K BE. I can safely OC it to 3.1Ghz without increasing the Vcore.

OK. We take 3Dmark as benchmark. Stock vs Stock, 5K BE still win over E2160.

the price for 5000+ is rm265 , notice that it doesnt include a hsf...
the price for e2160 is only rm200..(with hsf)

the reason to get these 2 proc surely is becos i wan to oc it..so have to do some research about them..no point comparing them at storeclock isnit?

(now still no one answer me whether e2160 can oc to 3Ghz withou raising vcore)

well, u can't expect every single piece having the same oc-ability.
u may get a crappy ones or a gem if u r lucky. (that's when u no need to pump vcore to achieve over 3ghz)

a tip for u,

i'd go for Intel Pentium Dual Core E2160 + Abit IP35-E, going for 3GHz at least with stock voltage and tight timing, voila... peace already...

y no one answer? coz it depends. in OC nothing is SURE until it was TESTED. mine 2160 can oc to 2.9g with stock. some can oc to 3.2 on stock but very rare. so d answer is a YES and NO. to put it simple, it depend on ur "LUCK". dblooi got 2140 that have been tested superpi stable at 3.4g wif stock... thumbup.gif

Yeah maybe true, well my P5N32-E SLI can do 1.325v for E2160 @ 3GHz. But cannot choose auto, must select the vcore.
