 9600gt HIGH temperature! (CLOSE), Soomebody can help me? It's too hot!

I got 9600GT OC from MSI. It's temperature is soooooooooo HOT! When I'm not oc,the temperature goes around 80 degree celcius.
Why ahh? Somebody can help me?

check ur casing fans, and make sure you organize the wires to improve airflow, maybe no air can intake or exhaust.

I've already check all things in my PC. Wire tak serabut langsung. The graphic card fan run smooth.

80 is high.Unless you have the skills to change the heatsink cooler for the gc,there is another way you can lower the temp.Its by applying some fresh thermal paste cause maybe they didn;t put it properly during installation

I just try to open the fan and heatsink. When I look the processor,it has no thermal paste at all. Should I claim its warranty?

TS, have u tried using software like rivatuner to adjust the fan speed higher?

btw.... iinm opening the heatsink will void warranty sweat.gif

Rivatuner. Already adjust to very high fan speed. The temp go down to 78 something but it still hot!

RMA the card. It should have at least thermal stickers on it.

If you know hot to remove the heatsink reapply the TIM better lor..Dun OC the card will die

Thanks for all who help me in this thread expecially Bigblock and Silverfire.
When I check my card again,it got a problem at its fan.
