It was a sunny morning and we were invited to shoot for James & Swee Ling wedding.
The shoot kick started from Swee Ling's house in Penang, lots of friends and relatives gathered with Swee Ling for her big day!

As Swee Ling is a friendly girl, she has a bunch of 'buddies' who would always share with her tears & laughter!

Before the groom arrives, of course the 'Sister-hood' will need to prepare the missions for him to perform, so Swee Ling quickly came out with the idea of 'The Chicken Dance'...

The guys arrived with a bold entry!

We had fun shooting photos for everyone here! There are candid shots, and there are formal family photos...

8.

After the tea ceremony session, Swee Ling & James proceeded to Gurney Hotel, for some private time; Before they are left alone, we arranged for a quick photo shoot session around in the hotel room & the famous gurney drive...

The guests joined the party from 7pm to late at night and had great fun with James & Swee Ling's family!

And of course, the toast time!

One quick group shot before James & Swee Ling go overseas for their career and happily ever after!

the gurney hotel shots ah, i think you have better areas la. the pool that floor ah, you can go towards the archery side or the kiddy pool side, no mesh netting covering. smile.gif but kiddy pool area is all sand la, still can try the archery area.

but that's the nice thing about the infinity pool which you show in #12.

Woah.. Nice..

Love pics 2 and 12 the most..

In the 2nd pic, the way the shot includes her hand makes it so beautiful... rclxms.gif But i think the outside light is abit bright to me... But thats just my noobish opinion.. tongue.gif

12 pic.. The background + the water really makes it a dreamy kinda pic.. rclxms.gif

Nice job.. thumbup.gif

at 1st we wan to go over to the sandy area one, but it was under cleaning that day, all wet and messy. So, we try something else loh. I find the net to some sort isolate the bgr and highlighting the heads?

The pool itself looked dangerous to me, easy to suicide.

most day photos was taken without fill flash, I had to +ev for brighter subject, so the bgr, bye bye jor. but then, I preferred it to be cleaner for bgr.

EXIF say you didn't use flash. nice. what time of the day was that? cos if go around noon, that area seems very dark.

actually, my partner who was taking video, help me to 'hang' the veil, before i start to burst shot like no tmr then he leave it goes down slowly. We has 3 tries then I finally settled with this shot.

basically i was forced not to use flash, coz my hotshoe has problem. the flash on and off not functioning properly.

we take the photo around 2-3pm iirc, quite dark, so we have to use +EV, thus the bgr usually konk off.

I have around 900 shots for the couple, minus the tea ceremony, minus the repeated shots, I think still have 500 - 600 similar quality shots as above.

I chosen 32 photos to represent the shooting though, the whole presentation can be view at http://camostudio.com/blogs/wp-content/FlashPhoto/080527/

If you like the series, would appreciate if you leave a feedback at my studio's blog @ http://camostudio.com/blogs/2008/05/27/ded...ng-14thmay2008/

TQVM!
