 How to send sms to maxis number with email?

hi everybody, i need a help
i am in singapore now and i need to contact with some people in malaysia,
i remember last time that's a service that can send sms with email to maxis number (not websms.maxis.com.my, i dun have account for that)

anyone know if this services still available
and what is the method to do so??

i will really appreciate your help, thanks !!

last time many years ago they do have la but now no more. 1 sms from s'pore about RM1 if i remember correctly.

I think this service is no longer exist. But there is another way to sms using internet to phone. but i dont remember. hmm.gif

Nothing is free nowadays. You need to subscribe to something to use their service.

many many moon ago, Maxis used to allow sms via e-mail but no more now. Then i think they only restrict to Maxis customer sending sms via their website.

Maxis being Maxis... you think they'll let you use their network without paying???

i think u can use yahoo mail or skype send to sms or phone to maxis number le.of course not free 1,need to pay certain amount for the service but will be a bit cheapter lo.

stupid... maxis earn so much such a service also discontinued.

at least put a limit or something.

i always use it for copy+paste long text that i lazy to type from the web to my handphone, e.g. to read it when im at my GPS... sienz lor.
