I am asking this out of curiousity , so Please do not take any comments Offensively, because there are by all means, not to offend any one. Is the game selling at rm 229 for Normal version ? Because that's about rm 40 more expensive than the one selling on Playasia . ( I am not going to be sure on the actual prize when it reached here, it can be even cheaper than that ) An example, if the preordered buyers are unlucky enough and didnt' get any figurine, didn't get any posters ,didn't get any merchandise, and didn't won any of those prize , Are those just going to walk away with a rm 40 for a dog tag? That sounds kinda unfair, it is a big game, but many of us who could afford a MGS4 and PS3 are workers, imagine that we burn our stamina just to attend the launch party in the midnight, and some of us actually have to work ,its the weekday afterall. Do you think there will be some kinda method to sorta 'BALANCE' the prizes up? So atleast the people that show up can have some kinda more encouragement ? I am sure if someone is so lucky enough to walk away with every single of those prizes are going to piss a lot of people off when they haven't got a hand on anything and have to wait a whole night for the game. The rm 40 is not really that much to a lot of people ,but it is about the enthusiasm to show up in a weekday..at such a late time.. |

QUOTE(cRazYee @ Jun 7 2008, 01:41 AM) dude, consider about import tax, please. 1.I knew people would took my message wrong way again( You did atleast), I am all prepared for it.official distributer=import under law, not like those suppliers who somehow manage do import it tax-free. so, if you gonna blame, try our customs. Another factor: how many copies does local distributor ordered. If you're familiar with business, I assume you could do the calculation. The more copies you order, the better discount you'll get. Comparing PlayAsia who are doing international business, for sure our local distributor couldn't get the games as cheap as they could. or maybe u can take it this way: as a insurance that you can play MGO with other players who also got it from Play Interactive distribution. coz they should be under the same region. And hey, do you have any better idea to get the game faster and save all the trouble? If you're not satisfy with the price, just order it from Play Asia, if you can wait for the shipping. 2. I did mention of the game being more expensive than certain online website, but My main point here is not the the rm40 , I could 've care less about that, and I mentioned that several times in my post. 3. What I am concerned about is the prizes, the merchandise that they were giving out, since they said this is an official Msia Launching ,I was just wondering, outta the prizes they are giving out , maybe there is a chance to balance up the things . If a person line up for a whole night , would they be getting some sorta merchandise as an encouragement for lining up whole night. If you still fail to catch my point, please do reread my message |

QUOTE(MusashiX @ Jun 7 2008, 08:15 AM) been to tecasia a few times but couldnt find any ps3 related stuff except for gaming magazines? only xbox360 Exactly, I don't mind to pay more, if I could have get some of the souvenirs ,posters, and other merchandise,Added on June 7, 2008, 8:43 am Agree wif you. Pre-order LE at Gamestop US get to get you free mgs artbook whilst some other shops across the globe giving other freebies like figures and etc. leme share wif you people my experiences-Thanks to advent of internet, MOST of the times, i always get better deal buying abroad and have it delivered here than going to local shop and get induced by statement like "we are selling at lost" or phrases like "selling with very thin profit margin". I have been buying watch strap, replacement camera batteries, camera accessories, watches, games & accessories, figures and etc. Savings are easily at 30% or more. Thats a lot to me. In Malaysia, we always have to pay higher price altho generally, our income not that hi. Look at LCD TV and cars. I understand import tax but are we implying that other countries selling cheaper because they do not impose tax? Except to maximise profit. If car taxes have been lowered, why car prices have not been reasonably lowered? Except to maximise profit by riding on other excuses. To me, every single cent counts and i do not like to feel cheated as a customer. I believe, we all would feel the same as an effective consumer at best. but they put this solely on a chance with a Lucky Draw , I ain't always lucky in these kinda things |
