I just came back from TecAsia. I was told to just register with my name and personal particulars for the pre-order. No payment or deposit required. Would like to know, will there be enough stock for the LE? Just worried that after standing in line for so long and being told only regular edition left.

i think tecasia should announce once the LE stock has finished (like GSC) so the rest in the queue would be aware and can leave if they are not interested in the regular version, for the benefit of all
i wonder if everyone would just scramble like an ant hill during then since most are interested in the LE.... |

Are the questions on the availibility for those pre-ordered answered?

QUOTE(hairuLeZ @ Jun 5 2008, 04:43 PM) I may be asking a stupid question here but can the organiser clarify this?If I have already pre-ordered the game, does it mean I will definitely get a copy? For example, if I turned up at 11pm and there's already a long queue. Will I be guaranteed a copy or is it first come-first serve? If it is, then why do I need to pre-order? Or is it just to qualify for the prizes? |

My thoughts exactly. Even got my money ready to pay but was surprised to know all I need to do is to provide my particulars. In return, I get a pre-order card with a perforated slip. The number I got is in the 4K+ range and I remember seeing someone having single digits. So, assuming - there are that many people who pre-ordered (which I doubt so), since many have purposely made a trip down there just to have our pre-order accounted for. It would be nice if the organiser could at least make the process a little more detailed. I have read through the back of the pre-order card but the "ingrlish-tuu-powderful" as its mostly terms and conditions to protect the organiser in the event of shortages of stock, change of date etc. Nothing was mentioned if the pre-order card guarantees a copy. Please forgive my noob questions as I have never participated in such an event before. Therefore, appreciate if the organiser could enlighten us. Thanks.

from my understanding (I'm in no way related to techasia whatsoever) of a preorder, the number of pre order cards should tally with the number of available copies, by right la. Or more for those who didn't preorder.

But the pre-order card does not indicate which version you wanted. Or was there a slot where you tick the preferred version upon registration.

Or more for those who didn't preorder. i've heard stories of people in the states pre ordering, and turning up only to find out the shop has sold out all their copies i guess it's also up to the shop-if they honour the pre orderers, they would put aside those games that were pre ordered |

i would really consider someone lucky if they were to get this during the TecAsia MGS4 lauch:
Being the 1st four in line to purchase the MGS4 LE and also get it at the price of RM229 MGS4 figure sure fire hit dapat one. Obviously he would also rcv the dog-tags ( i dunno if you guys give it to the lucky 4 or not ) Also rcv the MGS4 poster Then during lucky draw he gets to walk away with either the GunMetal MGS4 PS3 or Sony Bravia TV For the time-being can dream on and also still considering to make purchase or not on the 11th. If only the store was outside rather than inside a shopping complex, baru betul bleh pasang khemah. Pak guard tak kacau. Suka hati masing2 la nak tido situ dua hari sebelum kan. <------ Nie kipas susah mati kaw2 nie. P.S: BTW i walked around TecAsia the other day and i don't see you guys selling the PS3? Or did i overlook you games section? This post has been edited by manglersji: Jun 6 2008, 05:04 PM |

But, at TecAsia if you go inside towards the end, there's a Games section, selling PC and console games (Ps3, 360, Wii). |
