Hi, i'm still new to overclocking.
FYI, i just started to learn overclocking today and i successfully made it to 3ghz as the picture below shows.
But what i saw in this forum, is way too better than mine, they can get even 4ghz, i know there's something to do with the ratio for dram and fsb.
but my fsb jsut can't go any higher. FYI, i'm currently using ASUS p5k se/epu and what i use to overclock is a software from the mobo called AI Suite, it contains a feature called AI Booster to set the settings i want and i can make it to 3ghz but not any higher.
So can someone teach me how can i get my FSB or Dram frequency higher so that i can get a higher core speed for my Q6600?
or i'm totally messed up the point -.- ( means what i said is not correct at all ) if it is , please correct me. If you can teach me how to do it in BIOS for the settings for DRAM or FSB will be great =) . So all the sifus out there, please help me out thanks. Or someone can give me a simple tutorial website for overclocking will do so, but the best is teaching me here, cause i search google for few days but still can't get it clear -.-

and my temp is only around 26'c is it counted as low and telling me that i can go higher overclocking?
i got 4 fans and one hsk coolermaster mars.

PLEASE, I NEED MY PROCESSOR TO BE OVERCLOCKED WELL !!! HELPPP MEEEEE

FYI, i do on my pc 24/7 almost i guess
here's my rig
Kingston 4GB RAM 800
HEC True Power PSU 500w
asus p5k se/epu mobo
Q6600 processor cooled by Coolermaster Mars
i got 4 fans, without air-cond the highest temp for oc to 3.0ghz is almost 35'c ( never that high before, just a predictions ) on air-cond i can lower till 22'c
This is my rig, please help me =(
and one more thing, can anyone give me a hand on BIOS settings? i searched over google but all those tutorial is not that clear.
Like how to set the dram frequency etc...
Please do give a website or type it here if you can.
