Playing games now is about finishing and achievement points, izzit??? biggrin.gif

Anyway, I just want to add my comments that finishing a game is not really the ultimate objective. Like what people say about life - 'its not the years in a life that counts but the life in the years'. My point is that we should play games for enjoyment. Doesn't matter whether we finish a game in 1 day or 1 year. Nowadays, people tend to finish a game as fast as possible making the gaming life stressful and interfering with your daily life. Just go your own pace, remember, unlike things in real life, we don't need to rush to the finish, just enjoy the ride! (especially when we pay so much for a game, it MUST last long tongue.gif )

I would also like to recommend you to try out Bioshock & Orange Box.

BTW, I am now 50+% in GTA4 and my playing hours are close to 50! (hmmm... do they count replays as well?)

Well different ppl have different concept about finishing a game, just stick to your own style lo... It is YOUR game.

For me i'll finish the main campaign my way (probably 20-30 hours, the standard game time for games nowadays), then i'll look at the achievement list, plan a bit, read guides, then farm the achievements. However, i won't touch those ridiculous achievements that requires a hell lot of efforts and times.

we should play xbox360 games for achievements *ahem* ahahaha

anyway what's that highest rank in COD4? *something* mode. where you go back to level 1 with crappy weapons and all. and you can do it (go back to level 1) like what, 5 times? that thing is batshit crazy.

i think the only games i completed so far (single player only) are kameo, pdz, gow, halo3 and cod4. everything else play for a while then get bored. on average it takes me about 3-4 weeks to finish one game.

Dey, both of you also going prestige also laugh.gif I also doing the same thing laugh.gif

Those game I like, I will play like mad just to know the storyline. While other good games, I just slowly take my time to play it. Most taken time to play will be RPG games.

For achievement sometime i could be addicted to it. i see which is easily achivement easy to be done, then i'll do it. But not really insane achievement like gear os war which the Seriously achievment.

During PS2 era, the time I would spent on a single playthrough is so much more than now.

Currently after playing so many portable games, I'm accustomed to resting after like a level or something.
