Personally, I think they are very nice...esp the Happy Tree Friends theme. Kudos to mickeynic for taking the time to create them.

Nice stuff, too bad I have ditched my R4 and switched to AK2. :|
Extract the folder out of the zip, rename the folder to theme01~theme12, put it inside your microsd: _system_\theme\

Launch your R4, press "select" button to cycle through your installed themes.

yah theres alot of websites to download Themes for any flash carts
im uploading it here cos these are the ones i created it myself lo

You are using any form of software to create the themes? I'm doing it the manual (a.k.a tedious) way with photoshop

EXTRACT the ZIP THEMES FOLDER above
CREATE A FOLDER IN UR DS - INSIDE _SYSTEM_ folder / THEMES folder / create a folder named theme01
PUT THE 4 FILES U HAD EXTRACTED TO theme01 folder
THEN PRESS SELECT , you can see the themes already and PRESS A to set it


* you can have 12 themes in maximum in ur ds *
example theme01 - theme12 folders

errr are u sure u created a folder named "theme01" in ur THEMES FOLDER which is in ur _system_ folder ?

And putting the themes which has 4 .bmp files into theme01 folder ? JUst the 4 files.

it can be said to be a bug, the R4 programmer didnt program it to read capital letter.... its case sensitive but really dissapointing cause such small bug also didnt fix....

Can anyone teach how to install it on Edge ?

edge have different skin, you can't use these r4 themes. you can try getting cyclo ds, since it have the similar skin design with EDGE. inside the EDGE folder make 1 folder call skin then throw in the whole skin folder inside.

hmm..~ weird.. after i created a folder in my _system_ for the themes, i cant select it.. the next thing i know my moonshell aint working anymore.. haha,,

nothing for EDGE?

nop,so any new theme for new game?

I already did what you've instructed but somehow when I plug my R4 back into my DS, I go to Multimedia (am I right?) and then go to themes and then there are a list of themes that are already there and I use the control pad to press down to the theme I wanted. Say, theme01 then I press select.

But nothing happens. When I press A, there appears the four files and when I press A again, there's just like a picture view of the four files. Can anyone tell me where did I go wrong? TQ!

You don go to Multimedia , when u on ur ds with ur R4 , at the first screen shows up, u press select button , and you will see it ask for ur permission to set the new theme YES or No
and u press Yes or Ok , then ur new theme is set , thats all


There be more themes coming on the way ~ if anyone has some request , i will do it for you

In ndsthemes website , theres alot of it over there for u to download and use but from what im making , its just a part of leisure , free time , and enjoy doing it when i have the mood lol

So anyone can just try requesting some themes , and i will try my best to do a better looking one

i had that problem too. i was creating skins manually and i discovered that the problem is that i used the wrong size pic. the width and length had to be of (i think it was) 256x192 pixels.

so.. wanna ask,can we make a moving theme?

Just found out that your RH4 ZIP file is broken.

Err broken ?
It is fine wor , i tried and downloaded it myself to test out .. im using firefox not ie .. does it has the difference ka ?
Cos it seems that if i use ie to download .. the file is broken
But if i use Mozilla Firefox no problem , tested

Anyone else has problem downloading the files ?

You have to rename it to capital letters cos small letters it doesnt work for the folder of > THEMES < and the folders for each theme inside
Should be written this way also > theme01 < in small letters
