that is a hole cutter for metal that is why it state HSS drill bit(high speed steel) for the use on metal@aluminium
but if u using pneumatic drillgun with air regulator u can control the speed for the use of cut hole of the arcylic
or just use the electric drill gun with speed control high/low
yes it can adjust the length to your need in size of hole and lock the lenght using the ellen key provide

u had to order it for outside..... i used it before at my previous work in mlk
and we order it from aussie
