I use this way to download Youtube vids. I'm very happy to share with you. Please also reply with your method.
The software I'm using is called moyea flv downloader. It is a freeware.
Install and start the downloader.
You needn't get the url when downloading the vid.

Press "start recording".
Click in the page where the vid is playing.
The downloader will automatically save it to your hard drive.

Then you can watch it with the embeded flv player.

You can search "flv downloader" on google.com for more info.

I use real player to download. It is the easiest way to download any video online. Just download the latest real player version will do.

let me share to u all how i download.juz use internet explorer to watch youtube until finish.then click on tools>internet option>setting in temporary internet file>view files>then copy the get video file which using the most space and paste it on desktop and rename it .U can rename with any name u like but behind just add on (.flv).example,(hello.flv).thats it.

i just use download manager..
just right click and dload the last requested video

why not doing it online....go to mediaconverter...you can convert it into video or audio files...all is done online...after it has finished converting it gives u a download link to download your files....also it free....

also...firefox users can use the unplug addon.....

just copy the youtube video link to keepvid.com, and it will download the better quality MPEG4 video.
