QUOTE(shiloong7081 @ Feb 24 2011, 10:37 PM) Libya only supplies 1.7 million out of the 80 million barrel oil requirement daily and most of it is to Europe. The thing driving up oil prices i believe is the uncertainty surrounding the oil producing countries, which country will go next after Libya Juz heard d news that crude oil produced by Libya is actually high quality crude oil n it is pretty hard to fill the gap Wondering how high the crude oil price will hit |

QUOTE(ham_revilo @ Feb 27 2011, 06:42 PM) imo, the situation in middle east wont extend to long as US and europe will most likely to do something as it will impact them more compare to us in asia. Most of Gadhafi's assets has been frozen and he is now not allowed to leave the country. this shows signs that actions is taken. hence, i think most likely this issue will end sooner that we thought. IMOon the other hand, air asia might be giving out dividend which i will affect the price. but nothing is confirm yet as some said air asia might use the profit to invest into its business. anyhow, any decision will be made next week so lets wait and see what happen. but i think i'll wait for the announcement before i stock up The situation of d country already so bad but what western can do are just frozen asset n not allow him to get out the country May be it means that nobody hv a solution for Libya And the thing is if the fella is nt allow to get out the country It just like trapping a crazy dog in a cage Either the dog is going dead or it's enemy No more happy ending |

Airasia biggest problem is Indonesia's non-stop losing.
Airasia Philippine facing fierce competition from Cebu Pacific as well until Airasia have to start shrink Philippine domestic flight to cut lose. In short term , most likely won't see profit from Airasia India The initialization of Airasia Japan will contribute to extra loses as well. Good for long term and as for short term , why not going for other stock first? |
