I sold my AirAsia from IPO sometime back at an average price of RM1-50. As far as I can remember, AirAsia has not paid any dividends since the IPO.
It is said to be a growth stock but without dividends, investors can only smell its profits!

Airasia bailing out MAS ??? Is it worth it. The future belongs to the LCCs. this must be the biggest joke of the year.
I just hope AirAsia would not be made a fool. The better option would be to wind-up MAS.

The government-linked funds have perhaps pushed up AA to faciliate the deal. They have all the details but the public does not. Most airline shares all the world over are not performing.
U mean the government is trying to make TF richer, I think not. They are just trying the last effort to save MAS. If u can make yourself a millionaire, will you make others a millionaire also?

The idea looks neat. AA target low-price segment n MAS target full service segment. But the reality is the two segments easily overlap. Hard times would force the premium segment customers to shift into the low price segment. After all, the purpose is only to reach yr destination. If MAS were to get more customers, Tony would surely have to entice low cost segment customers to patronize MAS and not the other way round. No man can serve two masters.

signs of reversal sighted in the charts. But it may 1) move up 2)move sideways. You guess.

QUOTE(HeHeHunter @ Dec 29 2014, 09:33 AM) Didn't drop much. TuneIns and AAX didn't drop much either. It was reported that Allianz is the lead insurer. But I believe Tune is also affected. The effect may be less severe since Tune has reinsure part of the risk.
