Went to shoot the event which was held in Putrajaya. Went there way too early, so end up shooting a new building there. Hehe here's the results. This is an unusual approach from me because I'm experimenting with a different kind of shooting style. So please state your views about the photos. smile.gif

bro...the shadows take up too much space of the picture which will make it somehow givng you a very underexposed pic...thats what i think.. smile.gif

Hmmm yeah i did thought of that. But like i said im taking a different approach here. Instead of seeing it normally, try to think that I'm actually "catching" the light that bounces off the building surface. smile.gif

Very very nice, very inspiring. I'm about to try to photoshoot The Gardens tmr. This gave me some ideas. biggrin.gif

Loved #2, very dramatic feeling. Angle + colour.

Is the light PP'ed or natural? If PP'ed, and if its okay, would you mind sharing a brief explaination on the process? Thanks.

er... The light wasnt PP'ed. I just used manual setting and over expose the parts purposely. Then i just did RAW adjustments and curves tweaks. smile.gif

I like the angles, but didn't really like the dark pictures. But as you said, you were trying something new so it might not be everyone's cuppa tea.

Love the angles though.

Oh and if you know me, I am quite biased. Big fan of bright and colourful pictures tongue.gif So take my comments with a pinch of salt biggrin.gif

personal preference are always a subjective matter mate. So i wont say anything about that. Im flattered that you like the angle. That's a good feedback for me because at least i know the angle works. smile.gif

Thanks smile.gif

Ill explore more on punchy colors nx time. Waiting for the right light everyday. happy.gif

Did some tweaks on the shot. Mono adjustments. What do you think guys? Dodge and burn technique applied with added toning + curves adjustments. smile.gif

hi radical

think should have more reflection on the mirror leh
i guess the building wall not enuf relfection from the sky or u in a wrong time
seem under exposure on the building
the picture doesnt seem wide enuf maybe shot too near?

after u edit it still noting mch show on the building
something like pic 2
but angle show move to leftmore
to take a full left wall of that buliding with nice reflection

architecture seem deal alot with how clean you arrange the lines and rule of third

pic 6-7-8 seem noting special

It wasnt the right time. smile.gif

And I didnt have enough time to shoot ma as im there to cover the event. Like i said, i did those under exposure on purpose. If you read my previous post im "catching the light" instead of getting the "right" exposure. Get it? If it doesnt seem wide enough then it means I've cropped it to minimize dead space. Yeah sometimes i didnt get the compo right at the 1st place, but i dare to crop for impact. wink.gif

Maybe there's no right angle that interest me that time? like i said i dont have the time to look around and shoot more. smile.gif

Thanks for your replies though. happy.gif

We had our ways of doing things, I just made sure that I try not to follow the conventional rules that ppl always use. smile.gif
