Who owns/drives a New Saga BLM ?
Did you modify your car ?
Do you have pictures of your modified New Saga BLM ?
Because I drive a New Saga BLM and I plan to modify it, so anyone here have any idea on how to modify it?

ok..for me, personally, i wont do much on performance modify...no point...i duwan to be like those wiralution and wajalution, or kancilution on de road...for me, no manner hw they modify, stil they r wira/waja..

yes, exterior modify, mayb on skirting, tail lamp, rims,n etc...to make it look more GANAS!!!

well, jimmy, de pic in ur post 1, saga look nt bad after nice skiritng....(sorry, for me, stock saga really look no good)

I saw a Saga BLM with bodykit, spoiler, large rim and lowered.. What i can comment about it is, Look smart and nice.

Yeap but dont aspect till can smoke other cars la. Saga is just a 1.3 .
IF wan performance some more go PnP and rebore to 1.6 campro.
Then can start smoking ahhaha.

just dun upgrade your ccar too much dun make it look like some other car because a lot of ppl will not like the car like wiralution wajalution.

and another thing add turbo= more money wasted on patrol tongue.gif and u won't go very fast unless u fit a big turbo which make u visit the patrol station every time lol

btw the last picture white color one looks very nice

Anyone have idea to mod saga blm so it less fc ... that 1st thing on my mind. Then only have money to mod others. biggrin.gif
i had to agree saga blm have the potential to mod on exterior. After adding bodykit it will look nice especialy on white & black color. Now on market still not many saga blm bodykit yet.... wait saga blm flood the road 1st sweat.gif

Intake and extractor and weight reduction is the only way lor. Or ecu if got cash hahah but helps damn little.
Like any other car any more modding would increase fc.
Actually the above will increase FC cause you feel more power then you merempit more haha.

now rm50 can only get 280km ++.... but my saga still new milage not yet reach 1k still not do 1st service .... but i work in kl city jam here jam there...... wink.gif

Lol intake and extractor why need experts?
Can diy your own intake.
While extractor just wait till alot people be guinea pig first then you find the best extractor and exhaust setup lor.
White Weight reduction can diy. Remove carpets back seats passenger seats spare tire bottle/cup holders hand rest or anything you dont need lor.
While ecu......crazy expensive for little use why bother hahah.

guess wat.... i was driving from taiping to seremban today with my new saga..... n i saw a blue saga Perak plate smoking modded 1.6 Mitsu Waja n inthe end the Waja lost to him n even i overtake dat Waja.... just 1.3 doesnt mean cant smoke with 1.6. This 1.3 baby can go beyond ur expectation

K&N drop in still not at market yet but will wait for the part coming and will mod exhaust too... maybe will wait for full hotbit exhaust system due to the noise not tat loud compare to other brand exhaust.... not very like to mod the bodykit due to what the point if car is look nice but inside is slow sweat.gif sweat.gif haha...

they were driving at 160+kmph ... by the time i startup my n82 camera they r gone......

17" will fit... but will have problem.... stock tyre when doing turn da clearence between da mudguard and tyre is less than 1/2"..... so have to remove da mudguard or mod that part to fit 17"

17" will fit... but will have problem.... stock tyre when doing turn da clearence between da mudguard and tyre is less than 1/2"..... so have to remove da mudguard or mod that part to fit 17"

For me i rather modify the engine.. make it more smooth, powerful and efficient.. my plan:-

1) Change to a K&N drop in filter
2) Change to a Iridium spark plug
3) Install VS+GK
4) Fully synthetic engine oil
5) Synthetic ATF maybe ?

Anyone had the same or similar plan with me?

hahah i think that problem only accures in ure car...i've been having my perdana for 2 years now....And i travel to penang often....No problem with the gearbox AT ALL.... flex.gif rclxms.gif tongue.gif rclxm9.gif

What about going into the respective forums and tell gamers not to play games, collectors not to collect toys & figures, anime enthusiast not to watch anime, photographers not to buy expensive equipments? You can tell them it's not real, it's a waste of money, it's waste of time, and so on. I'm sure you'll be welcomed there.

I too disagree with the idea of having a national car (Proton) created in the first place but this is not the right way to do it. Let them go about their interests of 'modifying cars'.

dey bro, i also wothin 2 years time will reach mid 20s, but i dont think i will regret spending money to mod cars...how about u make ur so called good statement to those pc modders also (example: our beloved uncle ianho) pc modders also spend a lot money modding/overclocking their rig, customize their casing (even expensive casing they mod it)...so why this car modders, pc modders like to mod their cars/pc? its give satisfaction for them, its their hobby, they wanna try something diff..it is a passion for them..thats why .i bet even ianho already pas his mid 20s...they also so many car modders pas their 20s already...even some at their 40s already...

nowadays got those good bulb where u get to have 70% more bright and 50% power save..wah..if my car can mod till like that..rempit all night liaw!!!!!

lemme see..i noe some small stuff we can pasang near the engine part..can save FC 1..i duno wat name..duno isit true or not..i only noe my fren's wira got pasang..gold color..shape like a small can.

I don't think some member getting this car as you mean "cheapo" because of financial problem. Mostly if the people intend to modified a car, their will get the car on the lower spec. As I have a friend which bought a low end kelisa last time, and now he was fully convert to cuore with L5 turbo engine. Doesn't mean cheapo car, can't have a mind to mod. From your statement, what car you are driving? A very nice look car?


I'm not going here to flame, but I come here to share something about BLM. But once saw those reply which bashing blm member, I really can't stand it... Ok now. Back to the topic..

From what I see Saga BLM on the road especially with bodykit, it look more nice with bigger wheel.. Going 17inch is too much, but I bet 16inch is nice. If can't, get 15inch also enough.. Jimmy, your car look nice... You should put bodykit and then with bigger wheel.. Then your car will look awesome. icon_rolleyes.gif When I have chance to meet my cousin next time, I snap his saga blm picture. he mod it very nicely..

Cannot la, i got a R3 savvy at home. Not same the dimension. Headlamp also different, only thing can use is savvy brake pads, absorber and spring which is the same tongue.gif

Erm.. Suggest you get taiwan rim lor.. Lenso rim also good.. Don't get local rim which so heavy. Save more for taiwan light weight, then with good tire.. Roughly, Rm2k lor...

when u pasang the head lamps..the hole of the lamps must fit the holes on the car body as well mar,right?then baru get to screw in..i mean is the holes for savvy light at the same place as the holes for blm lights?which means i can use the savvy lights for my blm and fiber the mudguard and the bonet to fit well,or might as well get an ori savvy mudguard and bonet to pasang my blm.haha.juz to make sure it fits nia.

If wan to make Saga BLM looks nice n fierce, Body-widening is essential!!! it looks too weak wif small and thin body. Rims i suggest to use Taiwan replica rims bcos cost efficient. Engine part i don't have any comment bcos fuel price has been taken into consideration. Mayb VS with grounding cable can be installed? intake system upgrade? HID is a must. Da spoiler from the white Saga above is nice i thk. Lowered spring wif Rims will kill everyone's attention. Anyway, the MOST IMPORTANT POINT is...... these cost a lot of cash!!! In fact, i'm a poor guy driving old Iswara...... =(

actually you can easily get 15inch rim + tire at RM1300.. Go klang and find for 2nd hand rim. Some 2nd rim are in good condition and light weight.. Give a try on it. icon_rolleyes.gif Get 2nd hand on9 kinda risky as if the rim bend or watever, want find back the buyer also difficult.

gud question.haha.i got my blm when i went back my hometown that day..it was juz the 2nd day my car reach my house..then i go test drive around..try to get used to the left handed signal lights..then go service centre..then when i feel like getting stuff to add-on..im back to serdang liaw.hahaha!!!

Penang, must got butterworth only have nice and cheap mod shop.
Hehe im from penang too, but im working at KL, why the gathering so ngam i cannot one, KL gathering 22nd i at penang, 29th Penang gathering i back KL already xD.

BTW my car booked at near penang citibank there, M line black. Tint Rm1600 =.="

I can't remember all the posts here but I seem to not remember anyone changing their exhaust system. I heard that changing exhaust can actually lower the FC, if changed to the correct exhaust.

if u want the car more power sure need more fuel, if u lower power ofcourse save more fuel.

But everyone i know they change the exhaust system sure use more fuel, never heard ppl go low down power of car.

Dunno. I just changed exhaust for my aunt. Guy said this one give more power and save fuel. I asked him "More power not equals to more FC?" he said this

" More power gives the car more power to move the car from 0kmph, make the air flow more efficient. Plus because you got more power to move the car from 0, you need not used more fuel already to pump it up to speed, thus save more fuel"

SOund logic, but dunno practically true or not

ahahah!!!not practical..tipu la.more air flow means more oil pushed into the engine..duh..my sense of saving is that even if ur having sport exhaust..when free gear..the rpm is still low..eg:500-800rpm.then when u move, the rpm goes up fast and ur car moves forward faster..when u change gear(also have to press clutch), the rpm will drop fast as well..save lor.

I have a concept la is dun mod d out look just mod d performance of the car ... make it fast pick up, stabil when cornering & most important dun mod the car exthaust becum noisy like those ah beng la then ppl will think "wah stock blm so powerful" ..... biggrin.gif or when those ppl tailgate u, they sure think u a stock blm then ur out perform him la.... tongue.gif

my father took my car go tint Rm1600, car brake lock, visor and lock the engine and brake one when parking dont know call what. haha around 2k >.<

For me i dont know why the fuel tank like so small, haha like drive a while then petrol finish d... hehe

if seriously..white and black is the prettiest colour for blm..if cant..get red or grey..silver is my 3rd option..but my dad select silver pula..haih..he say black when rain, dirt can see on the car surface..same as white..silver wont be that clearly seen.haha

Actually I prefer white one at first, but it is solid colour so i choose blue. I not prefer black because my gf car is black one, damn hot ler unless tinted kau kau.
Haiz, juz wait 2 more weeks see how lar....
today see a white n blue car delivery by the track in pg, hopefully tml my SA call me up lar.. smile.gif

as u can see..it can shade part of ur rear glass without letting the sunlight from kena the rear passenger's neck.quite effective and stylish item..my mum thumbs up as well coz she like to sit the back seat and no complaints anymore since attached. thumbup.gif

normal faq:
1. it wont fly off when u speed la, drift lar, drag la, parking la..using the double side kuat kuat stick punya tape lor..
2. it wont break..i duno wat material it is..fibre?but quite elastic..
3. DIY of cz..i DIY mine oso..very fun thou
4. read the manual inside.its available for u to understand the feature.haha

HWL adjustable supension ... safety first... tongue.gif rims dont need to change lah.. 14 inch sport tyre dam cheap leh... if 15 inch rim those tyre need to spend more than 1K if 14inch 1k still got balance ... around 1 or 2 hundred...... tongue.gif yokohama advan neova AD07 lolx.. curenty i am using tat tyre... icon_rolleyes.gif

thks u for the opinion guys! i myself at 1st think change the HWL adjustable supension follow with bodykit then rim BUT
due too my place here those stocks not yet arrive then
yesterday i saw my cousin RIM, then i change my mind, goto to change RIM 1st becouse trade in old rim and tyre still got value. The end i change 1 set of BSA rim with 205/45/16.

u mean the aftermarket or stock ? erm.. for stock header is same lo... lolx.... maybe slightly different at the bottom pipe length ... but our car is coming with IAFM i think aftermarket header must be different from gen2 ..

i dunt know before change the rim how many KM , now change the rim , is 2.7 per liter = full tank rm 77.26 =322KM for my 1.3 ( Auto ) , so how ? is gd FC ?

which car got the same length of but and eventually fibre spoilers are alot available ler?at 1st i assume wira or wira aeroback got the same length of boot..but now u broke my feeling coz i hardly get spoiler designs that is really meeting my expectation.at least vios got the same length, same goes to city.

cover only...it is cost Rm 580...use AA PU...better than normal PU a lot..and not like normal PU so hot...it come with warranty also...normal PU...like Teksi seat wrap one...its skinz will drop down..this one would not (cannot say 100% not la)...not so so so easy...
Wrap in Klang...if you have few people want to wrap..will get more cheap price...it can mix color..my BLM is silver..so I take black and light grey...and the side bone have 2 choice..my one is benang...line line..another type is bone...

I take photo at night..so a bit dark ^.^

Now looking for R3 spoiler...how much if just for spoiler?
And In think for add soundsproof for BLM..because soundsproof is too lousy...even what people talking from outside can listen a bit... =.=''

Soundsproof i mean...the door...inside put something to make outsider sounds not so loud when listen from inside the car. hehehe...

i also looking for spoiler shop in klang which one is cheap de...
that armrest is myvi one..still can goyang a bit...cause i not yet lock it...glue only..hehe
