Streamyx must be connected to a router via cable or wifi :-) cannot directly modem to streamyx :-).
If u want to connect directly if ur modem capable of DHCP and router mode that would be okay . Set auto dial inside the modem and DHCP on This post has been edited by MX510: May 25 2008, 02:56 AM |

connect dlink router to modem, setup streamyx account in router to auto connect. verify your streamyx connection with your pc or laptop. make sure you can surf internet without using the streamyx dialer on your pc or laptop. Then ur PS3 should be able to go online.

In addition to that, you may want to open ports for your PS3 to enjoy smoother MP session. Check your PS3's IP and start adding ports for ur ps3. Ensure that ur NAT for PS3 is 2....if i remember correctly.
Since u post such question, i assume u might not know how 2 open ports as well. Google it. There r lots of posts regarding to this issue. |
