Heh that wan is aided by equipment. Used the Nikon R1 Wireless Close-up Speedlite System.

So it looks something like this:

Except its diffused smile.gif Of course, such lighting is achievable using normal flash setup with diffuser. I know Shutter Asia photogs have their own DIY diffuser which is called Milk Bottle.

Those looks similar to ring flash, which is quite an expensive setup. Thanks for sharing.

Flash? No flash in these shots.
These were shot last Saturday in Kek Lok Tong, Ipoh.

ooh, kek lok tong got so many nice bugs ya.. when i last went i didn't notice any

btw, i was not referring to you smile.gif there was a guy (zio) who said he used flash for macro.. so what i meant was, i prefer your shots

ok well yes his colors are nicer but then again..he is a professional bah...cannot compare with him biggrin.gif i like your composition coz its a lil diff from how people usually shoot smile.gif
