I am currently using Mr. Hobby Thinner to clean up paint smudges and to strip paint from my model if its not done properly. Will it harm my kit?
If we dilute industrial thinner with a lot of water, will it harm the kit or it has same effect as hobby thinner.

Any one using fish pumps as airbrush compressor here? Hows the output pressure compared to normal hobby airbrush compressors?

The thing that made me consider fish pumps is due to being capable of operating for a long session. I read around that hobby ones have to be turned off after 15 minutes or so. Besides I havent seen any airbrush compressors selling around in penang except for the tamiya one that runs with batteries.

Hi drew, I am currently looking for one too. For the compressor, I have singled out 2 at my post above, click the links to take a look. Its good to research around before buying (I almost ended up getting a fishpump coz I did not check out the air pressure specs).

Just a quick question, is the cutter tip of the bakac tool set cutter and tamiya cutter same? As in totally flat on one side. Can't manage to get a clear picture of the bakac cutter from the web.

I see, coz I saw a site showing Tamiya's one, from the picture it looks like a pretty clean cut to me, unfortunately the price is a bit too much for a cutter, i.e 80-100.

Model glue is about the same as super glue, they melt the surface to make it stick.
