Bugera amps are now in our shores and you can get them at AVEM.. Just wondering if any of you had a chance to test them out at their showroom. How are the prices for the various models like? Share your thoughts here smile.gif

OMFG, i've been waiting for this. I was just figuring out how i was going to get my hands on the 333XL or 6262. They sound brilliant based on the Youtube clips i've seen. Hopefully they don't mark up the prices here. Address please? biggrin.gif

Any rough estimate on how much the 333XL combo would cost though? I don't really think i need a head.

I think we should arrange a low yat "test" event.
A bunch of us with our different guitars and effects test their amps in the proper location (where we can play at a slightly "louder volume" brows.gif) so we can form our own opinions.

What do you say?

Aiko from Ishibashi said there were only 2 units left, and most probably they would be sold soon. So i guess i just have to settle with an RR24 then. sad.gif

Dear all

Good News !!

After Behringer unveils Bugera at the NAMM Show 2007, we have waited so long for the first 4 models and finally they have landed at AVEM showroom. They are 6260 and 6262 both head and combo.
This new guitar amp pumps out a true sonic hell: 120W! For those who are not aware, Bugera amps are all-tube amplifier that produces a louder result than a similar-power solid-state one. After one week of testing, reveals that this amp is not for sissy player. Turn the volume and gain knob at clean channel to 3 is enough to shake your neighborhoods. For Godzilla earth shaking result, just simply switch to LEAD mode and get super tight distortion with harmonics 2 or even 3 octaves off the original signal.

Bugera manages to exceptionally blend the vintage, classic looks with the awesome modern visual features like chrome knobs and front panel, the very clear and handy designed placement of all the knobs and controls. The 3-stage power operation allows you to quietly practice in your room when switching the power output to a LOW max or simply unleash the demons inside the box when setting it in the Hi-output.

The selection of tubes is couple of 12AX7 for the preamp and 6L6 (glasses) in the power amp stage-convertible to EL34 tubes. These are the items that you can only find in top of the line amplifier. All these combination, including Bugera original speaker produces a massive array
of quality tone that incomparable to any other brand. In short, Bugera is Bugera. And please do not get confuse, Behringer only act as official worldwide distributor for Bugera.

Alternatively, you can call us at 03-9200 3233 ( Maverick & Goh ) for FREE testing at our showroom.
