Well.. we love dogs. (:

Peanut and pumpkin are the parents of both Pancake and Popcorn.
They had more offspring but we sold them off because it was just too many.

Pancake was the first litter, the only one which survived; there were 2 initially but pumpkin didnt open the membrane for the 1st one and we didnt manage to save it on time. So it was only pancake that remained. And we couldnt give up the first ever puppy! So we kept her. She's now temporarily living with my cousin in putrajaya, she'll be back once cousin has baby (predicted - June)

and as for Popcorn? 2nd litter, 4 healthy pups. All alive! we had to open all the membranes. pumpkin still abit blur at it
we've sold of 3 of the puppies. Popcorn is the only one left. We're currently putting him on the market and looking for buyers, but only to a good owner tho. Still not sure if about keeping him or selling him, we're getting so attached. (: He's such a cutie pie.

note: peanut WAS such a cutie pie. you'd be shock at what he looks like now. haha.
I think he's overweight but then again, he doesnt really eat much. Big body frame I guess.

We've now shaved his legs since the hair got all tangled up the other day.
I dont know why his beard is always wet and slimy... I feel like shaving him bald.

imagine shaving the mouth! what will it look like? :0

p/s any advice on grooming a 1+ month old puppy? should I or should I not?

My dogs like to chew on stuff too. Thats why we keep everything high up.
Yesterday we accidentally left the astro remote on the sofa, and when we came back home, it was in 3 pieces.

Try to buy alot of toys for them. That usually does the trick.
We normally scatter the toys around the house before going out so they will be something to play with.

p/s do all schnauzers like to shred newspaper? or isit just my ones which love to do so?

any of your schnauzers also allergic to chicken?

WHAAAAT??!! wild kangaroo? serious isit? kangaroo meat?

schnauzers are prone to skin disorder (allergic).
try and test different types of food; chicken, beef, lamb, or kangaroo to see which is suitable.
they also gain weight VERY easily. try not to overfeed them.

if your schnauzer has uncropped ears, it is prone to having ear canal infections.
signs of ear infection are: constant scratching or ear, licking of ear (by other dog), funny smell in ear.
It is unnecessary to crop the ears (I find it as a painful, disfiguring process for dogs, it is a senseless surgery) , just always ensure that your dog's ears are dried up after bathing. And that should do the trick! (:

and yes...

schnauzers need alot of maintenance.
Daily brushing to preclude mats and tangles. It's a good idea to clean the whiskers following meals.
Or, if you find it too much of a hassle, send them to a good groomer.
they should be able to untangle any tangle and straighten any curls.

actually, only the smaller species of kangaroo's are endangered.
that means.. you can continue feeding wild kangaroo's to your dog! (:

p/s have you tried blackwood?

my dogs cant eat chicken too. they get rashes all over the skin, can last up to 2 months.
even worse is that we cant touch the dog, our skin also will get itchy.

plus, to cure them need to send for treatment every week, rm90+ for each session.
doctor will shave them bald and bath them with some sort of chemical, then their skin will start to peel a little bit.

So now, chicken is A big NO NO. (:

there's nothing less about blackwood clementcpteh.
it has all the vitamins, proteins, minerals, etc, a dog will need.

The only difference is that the blackwood formula specialized for dogs with skin problems and allergies.
plus, it reduces gas, diarrhea, vomiting and stress in dogs with digestive disorders.

some dogs automatically like sleeping on cushion beds, but it kind of depends on the condition your dog might be in.
as in, if the temperature of your house is warm, your dog will preferably sleep on the tiled floor since its cooler.
or if you have air conditioning in your house and it feels cold, your dog will find something to sleep on since the floor will be too chilly.

as of what i've heard from a ms breeder.

it is a very rare gene that produces a white schnauzer.
black schnauzers can produce white schnauzers, but it only happens once or twice in a long generation gap.
