hi everyone,

I just bought a 3 month old black&silver mini schnauzer [called ROXY] last sunday ... This is my first pet dog... need a lot of advise from the experts experts here ... hehe... there are a few questions i want to ask the experts:-

1) how to toilet train - after meal, i will bring her to the toilet and teman her and waited her to do her business ... unfortunately she dunwant to do it in the toilet, with the newspaper with toilet training drops. After 30 minutes of waiting, i put her back to her cage and tadaaa... she did her poo poo in the cage... I dont quite want her to do it in her cage simply because her poo poo will stick on the cage and it smells so bad. any good tips on how to toilet train my pup?

2) getting rid of 'dog smell'- is there any remedy/tips on how to minimize / getting rid of 'dog smell' on your dog & your house? she just took her bath on sunday, today is tuesday, and the house got funny smell edi... i have to burn the aromatherapy accent oils more frequent lately...

3) bath - i heard from alot of ppl, they said need to shower the dog every week. So i wonder how frequent can we bathe the dog? 3 days once?

1) pooty train - puppy can poo after meal , before having meal and after playing time . Or when you see your puppy wanted to poo that time with showing the sign of wanna poo/pee , hug ur pups right away to the toilet and ask it Poo/Pee . then gave it a treat as a reward . A treat as reward will make it remember thing easily.

2) maybe it still a puppy , so it got a smell , slowly slowly it wont smell strong , but before that let us know what doggy shampoo u use for your Roxy =') so maybe we can recommend more better dog shampoo . because my Ms doesn't smell even didn't bath 2 weeks .even my shihtzu the same , no need to bath often . even wait 2 more week , the smell still really nice . Well u can try get a dog body powder for it to make it got a nice smell . dog body powder more durable than a dog perfume . U can let Roxy have a try . smell can come from ear too , do check it ear often and clean it or massage it .

3)bath - best is 1 week once  smile.gif Not recommended to bath too often .

Roxy is using Pet Esthe Professional for puppy shampoo... bought from pet spa salon... one thing i realize today, she keep scratching her back and her neck ... I wonder why...

Listed price is RM 1680. Bought from Taman Desa Pet shop, the shop called Pet-Tales near faber tower.. and the same owner also opened another pet spa salon called De-Fairy. The spa salon really like human spa one ... drool.gif drool.gif

how you managed to get your ms wear the goggle? so guai one.... and about the fur color, so in future, roxy will turn grey looor? cry.gif cry.gif cry.gif

yea, how can teach roxy to sleep on a dog cushion bed? I tot of buying one cute cute cushion bed for her, but i wonder how i can teach her to sleep there and making sure she wont pee or pooo there ... icon_question.gif icon_question.gif

geng lehh.... i also wonder how come one so black one so white .... this coming saturday i will go back to the pet shop for roxy's grooming ... then i will ask the owner about her parents ... should have ask last time, i think i was tooo excited to get roxy home first without asking the parents... tongue.gif

yea ... becos of white color ... but in overseas, they accept ms in white color ... i wonder why mka still dunwant to acknowledge white ms

hi everyone... yea what is the penalty if kena caught?

hmm today roxy just had her second jab... now sleeping soundly on her new bed now ... (happy.gif)v
and for the first time i over heard her snooooring !!! blush.gif blush.gif blush.gif is it normal for ms puppy to snore?

yea, white one is cute, always stated as rare, no MKA cert, but the price is way too expensive compare to normal MKA certified ms ... sigh ...

Yes, Roxy is 4 month old now ... well Roxy do looks like a boy than a girl ... ppl will pass by and say so yau yeng ... instead of so leng lui... haha anyway im going to keep her horsey style ... hmm and i really hope she can remain her black & shiny coat when she grow up...

just curious... can the black color fur still can remain till the pup grow older?
as far as I know when the pup grew bigger the fur color will change became silver...

hmm as clement mentioned, the color will fade as the dog grow older... but we can always opt for dye ... can dye back black color mah ... thumbup.gif thumbup.gif

hellow everyone, still remember me mar??

by the way, i really need some help here... really urgent ...

i noticed that my dog, Roxy, currently has developed this strange behavior. she scratch my wall! the paint all came out and my wall is destroyed ... sigh, this is my new house, less than a year... and now she scratch it like a cat... on every corner of my corridor... how can i stop her from doing that? I've bought the bitter spray and spray on all the scratched wall. but she still do it.... i wonder if the spray will work becos her paw cannot taste the bitter spray ... sigh ....

help needed.... my bf MIGHT send her away if she still doing it as he cannot afford to have her to destroy the new house... i sakit hati too... both the house and roxy ...

she have the whole corridor for her to roam around during my working hours... of cos there are toys for her too... how can i spend time with her during working hours? sigh ....
