MS need to fix one location for poo and pee. too many place, they might confuse.

yea,actually she juz has 1 toilet ,but because of she always running all over the house so simply pee when cannot tahan

hey guys.. juz own a mini schnauzer,Tammy... she's kinda adorable.. i sleep she sleep then will always follow me no matter where i go.. but my family now start to dislike her. Reason, simply pee n poo especially near the piano... need some effective advice so that she knows how to do her business in the toilet. i tried locking her up in the toilet after eating for days but she still does her business wherever she likes.. should i get the type of chemical where it is used to potty train dogs? is it effective?

no.. you should get something to clean the place she peed before, clean well, omit all the stain and smell, dogs can smell very well. Need to clean all old stain.. so she can't smell it and pee there. At the same time, keep bringing her to toilet before and after meal. How old is Tammy?

i juz locked her AND I to toilet after meal
then after she poo/pee i will reward her some snacks

u can buy da chemical things,spray on their pee poo andtake them 2 smell it,but what i experienced b4 is.its too smelly my dog dun even wan2 go approach ..

Many people like lock their dog in cage when the dog do poo and pee every where, for my opinion that is not the solution. Lock one day, next day he/she forget already. you lock again. it going continue the problem.

how old is her? Puppy cannot control pee.. she will learn to control at least above 6 months old.

Added on November 1, 2008, 3:49 pmI think you use it wrongly =.= THe potty train thingy is to spray at the place you want them to do biz, eg newspaper, u spray on newspaper, and teach them go there. The smell will make them pee there.

Tammy is around 2 months + tried locking her in the toilet after meal also the same le.. still simply poo n pee around the house.. but i'm glad that she's a fast owner.. managed to teach to sit in 2 days

this is because a 2 months old puppy cannot control bladder, one day can pee more then 10 times (for some puppy), you need to bring her to toilet every 2 hours or so.. minimize her mistake, she will learn faster.

don't too press the puppy, later they get scare, "like alamak i poo on floor, mama going lock me in cage, what should i do, I need hurry clean up. I eat all the shit." that is true dog eat shit story. you never see dog eat pee , only is shit.

no no no.. potty training gotta be done during puppyhood.. it is VERY VERY hard to teach when they gets older.

Is right said by Iluv, you no do now, I have one basic question if no on puppyhood, when they get bigger, you can see the shit also bigger and more, it also one problem for you too.

i bought it in kl lo..
when you let her roamng freely in your house... you have to monitor her lo....when she start snffing around and making cycle at 1 spot... then quickly bring her to toilet... acccording to experienced onwer.. it takes at least 2 mths to train.. depend how fast your dog can learn...
