The single entered the UK Singles Chart at number one on May 18, 2008, ending Madonna and Justin Timberlake's four-week reign at the top. In Ireland, it has so far reached number two.

Somehow UK music chart has some nice songs dat ppl seldom listened to..Like Sam Sparro's Black and Gold..Or even Portishead...

yes true agree with you eisenmeteor that people dont really take a look at the UK chart what songs are making that hot no 1 spot but they are more into the US chart or just listening to what song are generally the best without even taking a look at any chart.

that why i love the UK charts.even Bob the Builder and Telytubies Song can be no 1. their radio is also better. they don't play the usual american pop crap all the time,. just listen to Hitz Fm and you get what i mean

yeah.. the no 1 song is not always good. but that's typical Brit humour. they love messing about do they?

i love UK charts seriously because there are some unknown top hit is way better than the crap american singles

yeah they do love to mess around and not take things seriously but at the end of the day, the thing you mess around can sometimes get a no 1 spot

Hitz Fm used to do a UK top 40 but they stopped long time ago

how la hitz fm can become malaysia's no 1 english radio station when they dont play the UK top 40 when they use to play it. haizzz

i think that was the only program that was worth it on the station. Even then its like 2-3 weeks delay. But now thanks to internet radio and youtube and imeem the problem may be solved.
