why no one mention about the lack of power while 'climbing hill'. Still remember last time when first bought the car, proudly bring both my parents to Genting Highlands with the new car but who knows, the 1.6 waja with 90% throttle struggling to climb the hill ...not sure any of you wajarians did encounter this before ?

QUOTE(jlce10 @ Jun 2 2008, 04:32 PM) hey, i had the same problem like you last time, i using this pendrive to lisen to music and it always blow, i ignore it and upgrade my player into a cd player... btw, better dont change phone in the car, it will spoi your phone, this is what i heard from my friend... different case, but almost identical. My head lamp keep blowing. today left, next week right......damn it.. Added on June 2, 2008, 4:42 pm QUOTE(jlce10 @ May 30 2008, 08:57 PM) hmm, i have no problem climbing steep moutain... pm the details and i put your details at the front page... anyway there are alot of penang kia here, why not we all find a place to meet up?? saturday/sunday?? egate, starbucks?? queensbay, starbucks?? good idea Added on June 2, 2008, 4:44 pm QUOTE(sphiroth @ May 30 2008, 10:27 PM) Thats a possibility. My friend encountered this situation once while driving alone. The car seems very heavy and then he politely ask some of the 'passenger' to get off as its too heavy, and the he can drive normally again. After that, had a fever for 3 days. hopefully this is not the case.. This post has been edited by kimiloh: Jun 2 2008, 04:44 PM |

QUOTE(sphiroth @ Jun 5 2008, 01:29 PM) Standard alarm is one-way, you can only send signal/info to your car (lock/unlock etc). 2-way alarm allows you to send and also receive signal from your car. Let say someone open your car door, the car itself will send signal to your transponder to alert you instead of just sounding the siren. best with engine auto-start |

QUOTE(sphiroth @ Jun 6 2008, 12:12 AM) Auto start function is quite dangerous actually because (1) car like mine need time from ON till start to allowed proper checking/calibrating of ABS and airbag and (2) when you accidentally left/park your car in 'gear' (especially MT car park at slope). that will be different function already, 'auto-move' haha Added on June 6, 2008, 8:51 am QUOTE(lilmonster @ Jun 6 2008, 01:43 AM) not sure how is the thing work and dunno how is the cost for this thing, perhaps may install a much better alarm system to make it more secure ? QUOTE(GeneJin @ Jun 6 2008, 10:16 AM) Auto start does not contribute directly to ppl stealing ur car, the way we drive and park and our common sense does. From wat i understand, it will somehow kill your car as some does not have the wait for ECU check function (Cheaper brands). correct me if i'm wrong. talking about manual start, any problem if we start the engine straight away without waiting for ECU check to finish? I used to do so as most of the time cannot wait |

QUOTE(GeneJin @ Jun 6 2008, 10:48 AM) Logically i dun thikn it will affect anything in short-term, but i not sure. If they build it this way must have reason 1 ma, so need to check with pros ans sifus.. hmm...at the beginning i make myself to wait patiently, but after few months dun feel like want to wait dee.. damn it my rear right absorber kong for the second time, with 'uh..uh..uh..' sound when move slowly and when it is light (1 or 2 persons). wonder why the rest no problem, always hit the rear right. |

QUOTE(rich79ers @ Jun 7 2008, 10:21 AM) hi guys, new to this thread with a waja i bought in 2003. exactly, it is the engine mounting problem, mine just changed (3 out f 4) and the problem solved. Mine also not changed with ori.the car is vibrating badly at idle time and low speed driving. is that a engine mount problem? another this is my right side main light is always blown. anyone knows what is the best way to fix that? cheers!! |
