i believe after replacing the battery, we should reset the ECU either doing it with MUT or PDT. then after that the car should go back into standard setting and during this period we might encounter a bit sluggishness as the ECU is learning our driving style again. after few hundred km it should be ok.

QUOTE(jlce10 @ Jun 19 2008, 11:16 AM) MUT = Multi-Use Tester it's a diagnostic handheld tool that connect to the ODBII port of the car. proton has similar tool but with less function called PDT (proton diagnostic tool if im not mostaken). most service centre got the PDT and not the MUT.

ride and handling i guess its pretty much personal preference. as for me, using R3 spring with stock absorber it felts a lil bit stiffer but not compromising comfort when fully loaded. it's more predictable in attacking corners and more stable as well with strut bar assistance. using 205/50/16 shoes, it leaves about 2.5cm clearence between tyre and fender.

i cant confirmed that, all i know is the OEM manufacturer for R3 spring also produced spring for waja in mass market. but the R3 version is using special spring rate as per spesified by R3. so posibbly it's the mass market version, but again, i cant confirmed that.

the 3rd party quality pretty much improved already. the first version got some gap at the headlamp but i understand that the latest revision dun have it or its not that obvious anymore. im not sure if proreka still selling or not as it was a special arrangement with them but it's still available from R3. the original kit made from FRP (fibre-reinforced plastic), whereby u could get cheaper PU or fibre from 3rd party. u can contact this dude from R3: Daryl Lam 012-2131691 Commercial Manager, R3 Motorsports. Added on June 23, 2008, 2:07 pmalternately, u can go to SPS, they carry the R3 stuff as well: http://www.safetyperformancestyle.com/This post has been edited by barium025: Jun 23 2008, 02:07 PM
