Just found this thread....

I bought my Waja brand new 5 years ago.... so far normal problem, power windor, fuel pump, compartment box and so forth....... since I intend to keep this car until become besi buruk.... I want to ask how to resolve my simple but seems like unsolved problem.... the cigarette lighter fuse.... from beginning until now always blow.... put big grounding wire also same... 1 fuse onli can tahan 2 days.... go to service center... Waja itu macam la boss.... stupid mechanic... Already more than 1 year I do not replace the fuse anymore...

Problem is I want to use GPS in my car... also want to charge my phone la... I'm not a smoker... so anybody got any solution?

the grounding not done by proton... becoz service center with straight face said cannot fix...

I'm not a techie la... done at normal accessory shop... put big wire at battery terminal with 4 wires going somewhere... cost me rm200... damn... that was done almost 1.5 years ago....

never heard of it la boss... sori can explain further... I'm not a car mod la... my car all still standard even after 5 years of usage.. so you know
how boring kind a person I am.... only now after almost 5 years old want to revive my Waja la...

I put on ultra racing bars, front 4 pts, rear 3 pts (I confuse the pts )... fender bars, change rear anti roll bar.... waaa... my old waja really can take sharp corner la... body roll very very less.... I'm impressed.... no need to konar baring now....

I'm thinking to change to lighten crank pulley to add more rev...

I don't think bars can reduce noise.... even though I'm planning to put some sound blocking material... costing like rm1.8k

I never touch my original Waja for 5.5 years... not even a single thing... everything just like I bought it.... but don't know how I've
got poisoned...


Like I said... I confused which is which... anyway, front one under the bonnet and connected to both absorber and body.... then, fender, I think 3 positions both sides... rear don't know how many points.... but if open the back can see the UR bar lah... worry if this weekend bring my wife to pasar... she open the back and ask what is it... how to answer hah??? Tak la yang... tu nak jimat minyak punya benda... pasang gas....

then, changed the original rear anti roll bar.... howie said the UR anti roll is thicker and stronger.... I don't know lah... true or not... but whenever go to work... ( I drive through Beranang-Mantin-Seremban old road) kau-kau corner man... these 2 days I arrive office 10 minutes early....

Let me try to listen tomorrow ok... anyway, I believe the handling can be further improved by changing to sport spring and absorber.... lowered the car a bit....

Comfirm mine got no nyet-nyet sound anymore....

I'm really a noobs in car mod... onli last week mod my old ride.... so want to know and need sifu advise here....

I want to know what to do to increase Waja (i think 4g18) engine performance without using turbo or sacrificing FC.... all I can think of now after reading few threads in LYN are:

1. lightened crank pulley
2. using open pod
3. water/methanol method

can sifus here englighten me more on how to do it... and what are the pro and con....

One of my subordinate at work - boss, apa mau pening kepala, tukar evo3 la baru rm12k... dapat 240 hp... minyak tak kuat sangat...

Ok will look into this seriously.... normal exhaust shop can do the cat killing????

Any side effect after removing the cat?? I mean like bad FC or visible emission or anything...

can feel the hp and torque increase?
