yup..its the mounting problem..in order to check which mounting has kong, start ur car, open the bonnet, step on to your brakes, put on to first gear and reverse gear and observe those mounting..see which one vibrates more..I would recommend the use of those local made ones as it is hard rubber..ori Proton got oil in between like a baloon..therefore it spoils easily..hard rubber give better response too..For your headlamp, try dumping a voltage stabilizer and observe see got changes or not

hello guys... I've a question here.. I've just changed my car battery on my own and something happened.. The timing was low.. Even when the car is idle, the rpm should be above 500 and the rpm was not stable and when it reach below 500..the car start jerking and then mati engine... When i'm driving and wanna slow down my car near traffic light or at junction, when the rpm goes down, my car will mati engine too.. And another question is, how to set back the time since the battery has been changed?

Standard alarm is one-way, you can only send signal/info to your car (lock/unlock etc). 2-way alarm allows you to send and also receive signal from your car. Let say someone open your car door, the car itself will send signal to your transponder to alert you instead of just sounding the siren.  nod.gif

Somebody told me that the most secure locking system is Disklock use to lock the wheel steering, because it cover all the steering wheel and it is expensive too, around RM499. And somemore they told me that this lock is far more better than the autolock pro from smartshop. Any comment on this guys?

user posted image

And also, is it will fit with waja steering wheel and where can i get this lock in KL area?,

Thanks in advance

I had that problem...while coming down from genting doh.gif

few days before i change battery...then suddenly when i went up genting was okay. When i was on the way down, the car rpm goes to below 500 and dies.

It happen a few time. I opened the bonnet, took a plier and twist the battery connector screw really hard until it got a firm grip then only car was okay. Had to rev it higher abit for about 4-5 mins then the ecu was fine.

Try that, or maybe your altenator kong already

and yes, how do i change the timing back? dont tell me must go back proton service center?

Even it is run by electrics, its still depend on signal coming from gearbox and flywheel to calculate the distance. Changing rims can also affect distance measurement (but not much). laugh.gif

Its due to design of the fuel tank, maybe the 'float' got stuck inside. hmm.gif

hmm..sound like ur car setting has run..usually when changing a waja battery, need to start that car first and leave it running only change..if not setting will run..Just send to some service center which has the computer to tune it back..thats all
