i had the same problem. just replaced my dead batt a few weeks ago. and then, my car just doesn't feel the same. sluggish performance, erratic gear change, even after a few weeks

was reluctant to do the ECU tune up

2 days ago, sent my car to PESC for periodic service. met a friend and asked him to do it for me for free (PESC charges ECU tuneup). they use a handhled computer. takes about 25 - 30 mins since they need to adjust the throttle manually (unlike campro, which is 100% software adjustable).

now my engine is nice, gear change is silky smooth. so, if you can get someone inside PESC to do it for you for free, go for it.

The part where the engine revs a bit longer after you press the clutch is true on my part but to me, if i step on the accelerator, the car is sluggish picking up

whats MUT??

MUT = Multi-Use Tester

it's a diagnostic handheld tool that connect to the ODBII port of the car. proton has similar tool but with less function called PDT (proton diagnostic tool if im not mostaken). most service centre got the PDT and not the MUT.

i hv change those RM100-RM130 range.just can use 2years n i find out my spark plug coil failure cos this cheaper spark plug gv me problem.

U may consider Quadcore 10mm spark cable. Last month they quote me RM150. But our 4G18 only can change 2 wire another 2 need to use ori that comes with coil pack. It might give un-balance result just my 2 cent.

Just got back my car, the spring at the power steering produce sound and i claimed warranty, need 1 week for stock to arrive..
I think it's called clock spring..

I tell my dad i want to change to R3 spring, lower a bit..He say i'll regret after that.
