It's better to buy a smoked headlamp direct from the factory as it provides 1 year warranty, instead of DIY-ing your original headlamp...as times goes by,ur headlamp might be covered with water after da rain...just my 2 cents..

a proper sealing play important roles. Those aftermarket parts from factory did not gurantee us there wont be any water leakage except from "Automotive Lighting" original supplier to Proton.

Send it to warranty, but i think they'll always find excuses..

never skim your disc, you will end up having unbalance grip distance of caliper and might end up pull your car to 1 side. unless you skim both disc.

The best solution is make a trip to PESC or EON, get them inspected and most probably they will request you to make another trip if they don't have stock.

Btw, have you check whether the clip that attached to the brake pad is there.

I had same problem with u last 2 weeks. Just skimmed my both rear disc and cost me RM70 and change the disc brake pad RM70 also.  It is recommended to change ur brake pad together with new skimmed disc plate.

4G18 is no way better then campro.

4G18 produce peak 140Nm at 2800rpm and drops immediately, Campro is 152Nm at 4000rpm and maintain until 4300rpm.

4G18 produce 77kW at 6000rpm and Campro produce 82kW at 6000rpm.

the figure can tell right?

if an engine is not about the hp and torque then what is the purpose they measure it? that is the only terms to benchmark engine.

The 4G18 engine is giving a spike at 2800 rpm then drops while the campro is giving smooth climbing in both hp and torque. At 3300rpm both campro and 4G18 is producing the same torque approximately 135Nm.

Because for city driving especially in jam, the rpm is always the the lower 3k rpm. The spike is actually good to get the 1tonne++ Waja moving. About the smooth climbing of Campro, I thought there's a torque dip before 4k rpm? 

With that kind of spike it's only gives u a car lead from stand still then ends up with 1-1.5 contenna lorry behind in 400m drag.

Its all about compromise. You get some, you loose some. Depend on whats you want in your car.

bare in mind campro is producing the same torque as 4G18 at 3500rpm. As the matter of facts Campro is not a high rev engine and it's a marketing terms used by Proton, most of the covensional car at that range of rpm. A high rev engine is those produce max torque at 6000rpm and above.

Isn't Campro max power at 6.5k rpm?

what else to measure on engine performance if not hp and torque? male or female engine?
that is the 4G18 engine is design for, it's city driving engine and it's not performance engine. As i mentioned no way 4G18 is better then campro in terms of performance. If u happen to browse through the factory chart of torque, it's not dip. It's just flatten all the way from 2000rpm to 2500rpm before it start to climb again. if u compare to 4G18 it start to drop from 2500rpm to 3500 rpm then flatten all the way from 3500rpm to 4500rpm and it up again a little from 4500rpm to 5500rpm. the different is campro flatten for 500rpm while 4G18 flatten 1000rpm.
the last few post is talking about performance, therefore it's all about performance.
that is max hp not max torque.

that's right the result is on crank, or maybe different dyno, temperature & humidity gives different result.

yea mine gen2 is auto and waja is auto as well. Earlier post I mentioned auto? Did I?

Thinking of changing my wiper long time ago, spoil d..
But still dilemma which to go for, silicone or rubber..

the silicon is almost the same either brand it will be, the only different is silicon maker. As far as i know if the silicon material is dowcorning brand it might more reliable. But we never know.

RM78 for a pair is quite cheap, i remember did saw the PIAA brand and it cost RM115/pc.

i am currently using this right now not bad. but i hear from my fren, if speed up to 150kmj this wiper like not fuction very well.cos this is less bone wiper..but for me i like this so much

I would say PU last, although fiber is cheaper.. Imagine you driving 100km/h and a small stone hit your bumper, your bumper might crack..
