I voted Godzilla.

The huge blast from its mouth is more than enough to eradicate anything in its path laugh.gif

Megatron (gen 1) is originally a knock-off of MC-13 Gun Robo from the Takara Microman toy line. So yes, Transformers is counted as another Japanese import along with Godzilla. I think when it comes to oversized monsters, you just can't beat the Japanese legends. Look at the new Iron Man movie. They couldn't have come up with a "mobile suit" as elaborate as that from the original comic book design. This only happens thanks to the modern mecha influences from the East. So I say f--k Hollywood.

monsters are not necessarily organic. gigantic mechs which terrorize cities and cause massive destruction are monsters as well i guess.

If measuring up the size according to each respective films, I'd say it'll be in this order (from big to small):

1. Clover
2. Godzilla
3. King Kong
4. T-Rex
5. Megatron
6. Alien Queen

Size does matter laugh.gif

very tough choice indeed!!! here's my list as per ranking

1. King Kong - its the only monster with brain!!!
2. Godzilla - popularize the concept of monster invading cities...
3. Clover - respectable replacement of godzilla
4. Megatron - popular among robot lovers and IT geeks?! hehe..
5. T-Rex - looks like smaller version of godzilla
6. Alien Queen - pawned by Sigourney Weaver, so not so good...

Godzilla doesnt originate from Hollywood.

So my vote goes to Cloverfield.

I think the best should be Gamera. Anyone remembers this monster?
