But assuming my assumptions are right.
GT attached to Packaging would be to ensure optimal adherence to specifications of electronic packages. |

QUOTE(duffifie @ May 29 2013, 11:45 PM) 1) If you are a GT, you're not likely to be absorbed as FT BB I'm going as a GT... what do you mean by FT BB??2) If you're GB, you're not likely to be absorbed as BB Meritocracy: 1) 360 is somewhat a just (as in justice) system. If your boss doesn't like you, he'll find someone to fix you up nicely 2) even if you did well, boss loves you, senior management never retire... you're bound to hit the ceiling. I've left Intel for sometime now, but to this day, I miss Intel. Very much. 1) Intel: I can just say all the technical stuff, everyone just understands Outside: I always felt like OMG HOW DID THESE PEOPLE EVER GOT HIRED? Mind you, average Inteliers' IQ is probably the highest in the entire Malaysia. I wished I knew this before I left Intel 2) Intel RSU stocks used to be super awesome - just need to wait until vesting period.. if you want to leave, leave after you get to vest at least some portions of your stocks. USD some more! Outside: Ceh. Stock option (this one need to pay one, RSU is free) oso cancelled. 3) Intel teambuilding is great! Even during economic crises, Inteliers still got parties, PO lunches. Nice.. Outside: "Married lor, cannot join for drinks". Inteliers oso married, but they all still go for events. Some companies.. even when new people join or people leave.. nobody celebrate.. come to office and saw their cubicles all empty already.. If I could turn back the time, I would have stayed! Now it's too late.. |

QUOTE(Jackie Le @ Nov 17 2013, 07:59 PM) Seems like you are not really sastisfiled there? How is the working environment? Facility, relationship between co-works and with boss, workload and extra activities? Do they have any sport court like badminton or football inside? Any restriction between GT and permanent, do they treat same or what? career development posibility? Sorry I may ask to much lah Not to say not satisfied. Lol. Well complicated lol Below is my comment based on my position and job role. Others may not apply . anyway, working environment. Intel has one of the most flexible working environment . No clock in no clock you can come and go whenever you like. As long as you finish your work. Work load is like a roller coaster ride . There are peaks and lows. I am currently almost at my peak period. Peak workloads you can expect to work when when you're at home.. especially when urgent deadlines come. Off Peak periods you basically is like in holiday. Lol . As with any work place. You got good boss bad boss good Co workers bad Co workers . They exist in all companies. Get yard to it. Facilities are ok. . . So so. You got gym. Tennis courts basketball. .ping pong fusball. No swimming pool and badminton court in pg . In kulim have badminton . GT and permanent there are differences in eligible benefits. By a large margin . No doubt if you're permanent. You enjoy multiple bonuses and many stuff you can claim. GT quite limited. Career development ????? Lol. I don't know how to explain this.. lol. I too young and fresh. But trust me on one thing . You want to learn stuff and pickup skills. Big firms are certainly not the place . Why? Because the job scope gets tooooooooo segmented. You won't learn much beyond your immediate role. ... UNLESS you make extra effort yo do so. |

QUOTE(pigrabbit @ Aug 11 2015, 12:31 PM) the most lan si employee there. U can't deny remuneration wise, Intel is one of the top MNC around here that pays well.manager dont say la... of course the lansi one. the security, the engineer also lansi type. mostly they have work some years experience in INtel, had shown up the ego. went for interview, can feel the tension already. say how great is... how many building have..., talk like macam the interview manager punya billions ringgit of mansion. not advisable to go. i got my friends advise me before i accept for the interview , whom are ex intel employee, vendors and contractors advise that are not a place for work. too strong battle fields and backstabbing. vendors and contractors willing to ignore the luxurious prices and give up to do business with them. because too much regulation and compliance to follow. multiple colors of smock have to change when you just walk pass the building of different department. Remuneration package includes. Month wage + 1.5 contractual bonus + Performance Bonus(I think mostly in manufacturing) + Profit Sharing every Half Year +Free Stock Options This, and not even counting side benefits such as Broadband, Phone, Medical, Toll, Bridge Claims. But..... Whether is nice to place to work, depends heavily on your luck. Normally depends on which department and which boss u got. And truth is, it is so competitive that working there equals to everyone around u is a potential competitor and backstabber. How else do you wanna survive in a company that lay-off people 2 3 rounds per year? Lay-off, re-hire, lay-off, re-hire.... They force you to be on your toes. The moment you slack, you are behind in the race. Ready for culling. So... To people that are considering Intel, know what you are getting in to. Not to say it's bad. If you can handle the pressure pot, then u reap the money $$$.Simple as that. |
