just heard that intel GT this year got around 4.5k which is more higher/the same as grade 3 salary 🤧 tho i know the same has happen before lol

i heard GT got 4.7k now at Intel.

somewhat much needed alignment with the current trend of Semiconductors and Telco pay within Malaysia now la.
But cross overseas to Singapore $5k SGD much nicer

Now only left the Grade 3 and above do the same thing.

G3 is moving of course. G5 moved as well if I am not wrong. just the high grades one are stagnant and eventually it will be a problem soon

There was a fiasco that happened lately that got alot of people unhappy so we'll see how things unfold. lol

Unless VSS to them with more than 5 years working experience they all very happy one.

Gotta depends what's their grade cause it affects negatively for higher grade people and benefits lower grades.

But you're right.....everyday wake up with bad news until numb d.....so just take celery and do work. lol

Intel need to keep up lah. SkyeChip paying 8k for 0-2 years experience engineer. but of course, SkyeChip is sitting on piles of cash by licensing their IPs to China clients. also, SkyeChip going for IPO soon.

No doubt. Everybody is underpaid in Intel. lol.

What's the pay structure nowadays for IC design in local (SkyeChip/Oppstar) and MNC (Intel/AMD) ?
Is there any bonus? RSU? ESPP?

i think still okay. since last month give 6% adjustment and in April will have another rewards cycle. so in total this year got double digit increment. and for G6 and above still got RSU. unless you say INTC is so low that it worth nothing. lol.

Won't say it's worth nothing. lol. No free lunch in this world. Head over to Skyechip or AMD or starfive, they can pay but you prolly lose your sanity eventually.

Let's hope the April rewards is indeed rewarding.
