I do think market has room for downside as this round implication is 5x or 10x bigger than 30 cents rise in petrol last year. It is like last throw of the dice by the gov, make it or fail it, just my personal feeling, might be bias.

For windfall tax, It is bad move in term of financial view. Company makes tonnes of money like plantation stock and IPPs, gov punish them with windfall tax which in foreginers and shareholders eyes which is not good, we shareholders want to see our company makes tonnes of money but now gov want to punish them/us for making too much money. This someting is not right for free market or free investment market.

Having said that, little shopping on good stocks won't do much harm especially on those big cap with good fundamenta that fund managers keen to support one.
