Added on June 2, 2008, 10:47 amNo, the bid and ask is higher majority of the times. This is what we call by contango. In theory, the future (FKLI) and the spot price (CI) will converge at expiry.
Since we have almost 20 trading days to go till expiry, the FKLI BID AND ASK is usually HIGHER. (Again, contango) So if you would want to buy one contract, you would have to Q at 1269 since ask is 1269.5.
However, to purchase or sell short one contract, you must deposit RM 6000 PER CONTRACT. So, 10 contracts, 60000 rm must be in your Futures account.
Aiks...looks like malaysia will be affected too... Thanks for the explanation ^^ now i start saving until 60000 first XD its a big sum for a uni student like me >.<
