tat's wat they propose..free market....i went to US and they have like SALE!! SALE!!! Today 10% for fuel...something like tat....price of petrol changes everyday
Pls dun compare ppl earning in EUROPE n ppl earning in M'sia w/o comparing tax structure etc..... and....dun panic ppl....SUBSIDY will still be here....just tat the method of 'implementation' has not been finalized....either thru mykad, based on salary range...or quota for filling petrol etc..... DO you all really think they can implement it w/o giving back subsidy (reduced one maybe)???? One toll citizen also dowan pay......can fight n protest........if RM3-4/litre...i think petronas building might get burned....or u'll c ppl rallying n protesting for PM to step down like wat happened in Thailand... Added on June 4, 2008, 9:54 amPS: M'sian have been too pampered liao hehehehehe....... This post has been edited by kinwawa: Jun 4 2008, 09:54 AM |

QUOTE(AdamG1981 @ Jun 4 2008, 09:56 AM) The only two things about Malaysia is the healthcare, food prices and oil. All these were "cheap". IF the govt cant keep the budget deficit under control, say GOODBYE to FREE healthcare!! they already announced RM9bil allocation for healtcare remains.....so nt to worry bout tat yet.....my dad gets his medication/checkup for free since retiring......very very good indeed |

QUOTE(Mikiyo @ Jun 4 2008, 10:00 AM) Yea...how much they get per/hour man...their rate is like 5X our wages..argh..we work so hard get like 4-5bux/hour they work 1 hour = our 4-5 hours fyi..i have about 10 relatives migrated to US.....i'ved been there.....salary might be 3-5k/month for freshie...but average 40% goes to tax.....they can earn a lot but they dun drive a lot mind u...it's really too xpensive to drive in US (new york in particular)......petrol...parking....insurance is way too high...not to mention car repair cost a bomb there.....usually they only use it during weekends..... but....their public transport is very efficient...although old n dirty food n goods are cheap there (if earn USD)....but properties is toooooooo xpensive.....(700k for double storey to stay in S'ban-distance fr CITY centre) if u ask me......i dun mind paying market price if u can improve the public transport....make it really really convenient......n take away taxes for cars ...make them cheap...... -just my opinion- |

QUOTE(neverlog @ Jun 4 2008, 10:41 AM) Please provide better subsidy scheme if you have ....any idea? you will gain more respect....dun just criticise, oh... this 1 can not , that 1 not good.... yeap...tat's wat i was thinking! PS: You cant fulfil everyone's wish n needs....in the end...there will b ppl complaining.....ie...subsidy for those earning 5k n below.....those earning 6k will complain they dun have xtra money also....cant finance their 1mil bungalow n 100k toyota cars etc we need to 'adapt' to changes......... wat i really wan to see is ppl be more conscious n realize about problem at hands...less wastage....follow European using more fuel-efficient cars.....more public transport (more environ friendly) realistically.....i prefer subsidy to be given based on salary range n quota (enuf to be used for working + weekends groceries shopping) ehhehehee mind u.....nt all low-income group or those 'civil servant' have side income...... am i fair to say all remisier r millionaires n doesn't need subsidy?????? |
