Dude, RWI has become sooooo boring. The only few topics i posted in recently where the MPO and reading habits the rest have debated to death. All political topics sigh,

The food topic is pretty interesting. Look, if you want to have a topic, just make a GOOD one. Its not like they're biased against you, you're just not meeting the standards for creating a discussion. You want to prove you're intellectual, then the best way to do it, is to pass their standards.
*
Dude, sometimes i don't want to pass an essay. I've beaten my fair share of opponents in a debate. Including MayAnne but that's not the point. I'm not here to prove i'm a freaking intellectual. I want freedom for all to debate and express themselves intellectually.

Geez, that's the problem. I'm not doing this for myself, it's just that i see RWI becoming more and more mundane.

I mean the subforum idea is a billion times better than the kopitiam Q&A wei, that's just a ghey subforum.

laugh.gif In terms of popularity in LYN, mayanne probably outranks you by several magnitudes tongue.gif

That's because she posts a freaking photo and you know how males react when they see female pictures like these. If she wasn't female, she would probably be as hated as Goldfries and the rest.

Ahh, that's the thing. It doesn't. The new thread isn't biased like RWI. RWI is biased towards intelligence and hardwork but the subforum won't be.

I can see its becoming mundane as well, but I don't see it as a problem of its rules/moderating system. I see it as a problem of the participants. RWI was MUCH MUCH better in the past, I easily had 5-6 interesting topics to check every single day, with interesting responses from intelligent members. We got invaded by lesser beings, which was why the restriction came up in the first place.

I LIKE the essay writing posts in RWI, its the reason we go there. Its the reason the older participants stuck around to debate/discuss. The standard has been lowered, which is why they have left. I'll say it again, just create a topic that will spur discussion. Create a topic that passes RWI's standards,  and that entices intelligent people to post lengthy replies that will stimulate discussion. If you really want to make RWI interesting again, THAT is the right way of doing it.

If you want to continue this, we'll do it in your topic at the feedback forum/via PM

Dude u do agree with me that RWI was MUCH MUCH better in the past. Why was that? Because of the freedom! True the spammers, flamers destroyed the freedom. What i'm trying to say is bring back the freedom either in RWI or a subforum in RWI. Try it out, perhaps we will get to see the 5-6 new topics you talked about. You can argue on the various factors that caused the declined of good topics but inherently this is the next closest solution to liven back up RWI.

U talked about lower standards but that's response posts not thread creation posts. You can't deny that the restriction has lead to a decline because statistics shows that it has.

You don't get it. The restriction was brought up FOR A REASON. It wasn't necessary in the past, because the topics all met the guideline. There are other solutions to the problem, a sub-forum just isn't one of them. Sorry.

It's like setting a curfew because your daughter made a mistake and nvr lifting the curfew. What makes u think a subforum wouldn't solve the problem when there weren't any in the past? That isn't logical, you say there are other solutions name me another one.

Clearly you are letting past problems haunt you. It's like your car got shit on by a bird in your usual parking spot and you spurn that spot forever in fear of that 1 time the bird crapped on your car.

Clearly a good analysis of the problems then would have gone a long way to solving the problem now.
