irene stays in Tanjong Bunga. if you consider getting another westie, why not wait for Christy's next heat. she gave birth to scubby on 9/9, so means her next round should be soon? not sure their cycle. she estimated Jasmine's litter for jan 09, but comparing both dam, christy is better quality wink.gif

if one day we do stay in a landed property, we would probably be like larryho and pennywise. have 2-3 westies!  thumbup.gif

is that snowball's avatar? handsome fella. or issit pretty girl?  hmm.gif

She gave birth to scubby on 9/9, and now it's only going to November, so fast the next round of puppies are coming? Not like 3 to 4 months break for them to recuperate or anything? I don't know laugh.gif

Yeah handsome guy, haha. Will upload a few latest pics of the ah pek later

When i was a kid, i used to stay at Sri Gombak. Then shifted to Gombak, at Medan Idaman. Then now at Ukay Perdana, Ampang. Now v have land for our dogs to run around so its better for them also....i'll normally play wit them at the garden.

Yeah same here. My mom only allowed me to get a dog after shifting to Kota Kemuning. My house is a corner lot, so snowball has acres of space to play, not to mention he gets crazy sometimes and pulls away some planted flowers on the ground. And also eating fruits fresh from the trees! shakehead.gif

He wants attention when he's playing in the garden. He will bite flowers and grass, because he knows we will chase him to remove whatever that's in his mouth. Dont know where he learned this trick from laugh.gif

snowball so lucky to have a big garden to play. but he still needs his daily walk leh. i watch too much cesar millan hehe. dog's prime instinct is to walk! so no matter how big your garden is, it is just a very big cage. because he is still fenced up wink.gif

if you walk him then he will be tired to cause chaos in the garden lo icon_rolleyes.gif

Yea...mayb im gonna further my study over there, so might plan to bring one home. But over there muz search for those kennel club coz there got no pet shop like here.

Im not very sure about the air ticket price but its surely much more cheaper than human, Casper came back previously aso not tat costly but if its a good breed...then mayb i guess its worth.
*
Ok, study hard yaa... how much does it cost for you to bring Casper back last time?

QUOTE(Doraemon11 @ Oct 23 2008, 08:02 PM)
Ya .. last time i have a mix breed dog.. He make noise by keep barking..
I trying to train him to stop.. meantime my neighbour (malay) call up DBKL to catch him.. lucky on tat time i alrd move it to other house.

Hi Jac.. i'm reis smile.gif
i did pm u but no reply

Dnt burn dnt burn and dnt wasted it.. since u wana give up.. so i paid for the balance and bring him home ohohohoh  laugh.gif
*
By right, DBKL or whoever is not allowed into your house if they dont have a warrant so they have no right to take your dog away if you keep it indoor.

But now my vet told me to beware. If young girl alone should not bring dog out for a walk because some of this town council ppl hire Indon and Bangla to be dog catcher. If you dont have a registered dog tag with the Majlis Perbandaran X, they will just take your dog away from you. Of course, these Indon / Bangla knows there's a market for expensive purebreed dogs, so there are chances where they will push you around for it.

When you have 3 westies, you will feel like you need to kill them because when they do synchronized barking when a visitor comes, you'll go deaf.

Casper is the most noisy, barky and whiney dog in my house. My gf comes and Casper will make this whiney sound wanting to get out... his noise is kew kew kew... kew kew... kew kew kew... My God, annoying to the max. Even if told no, also will continue.

Moonie is cool and quiet, she will come and goes as she like. Sometimes full of confident, walk pass you and step on you also nevermind. Sometimes, crawling like wanna die like that.

Marquis is... ok, so far yappy because is still a puppy and we dont have much time to educate him yet. Time will tell.

Most westie look like ahpek ma, dont call ahpek, call what? Yea, some vet are cun... Just like my vet in Klang also very cute.

Some dogs heat comes 3 times a year, not a standard twice. Moonie's third heat will be here soon but she's not matured enough to be a mommy and we're not ready for another LITTER of westie.

Snowball stays inside the house, I only let him loose in the garden when we are lazy to walk him, basically almost everyday, hahaha. I, unfortunately, only walk him like twice a week? I know it's insufficient, but we walk around our neighbourhood only, he not sien the master also sien already =p

I hope my housing area wont have those dog catchers. I know a lot of dogs in my place all don't have license as well. I read it's quite a hassle to get one in Shah Alam, must wait for a few months if I'm not mistaken. My house is in a gated community, hopefully wont have those dog catchers lah, hehe.

Apparently, the process isnt so simple these days. They would want your address and the picture of your home. Depending on what type of house you live in determines how many dogs you can keep. For example, a single storey terrace house can only keep one, same goes for a double storey. If I am not mistaken, you need to snap a front shot of your house when submitting your application.

The bigger your house, the more dogs you can keep. The license is cheap but the process is hassle.

You're like me, I also let my dogs out in the compound when I'm too tired to walk them. I also walk them about 2 - 3 times a week only. Orang kaya live in gated community hah?

RM300 for the saman is one thing but to take the dog away is bullcrap. Dont let these people scare you and exercise your human rights.

If me, I'd screw the saman as well and if they step into my compound, I'd sue them, regardless DBKL or not. They dont have the rights to trespass.

Ok, let me know if it's changed again. Good luck.

I saw the requirement list printed on a A4 paper, taped on the counter. I had wanted to apply but decided to forget it since I always take care of them and it's unlikely that they run out without me.

This is Malaysia, any change might be possible.

actually i am thinking of neutering scubby. it would be kinder to him, if not he can get cancer and all sorts of weird behaviours. i did some research and asked around, the best is to neuter if not planning to mate. even if wan to mate also, how many times? do you know, dogs also can get STD?

A friend of mine had his shih tzu neutered. He says it prevents the possibilty of prostate cancer, which is true. And also it makes the dog more manja.

My Snowball played with that shih tzu before. And snowball humped HIM, and that neutered shih tzu allowed him to do so laugh.gif

True but you are like robbing his manhood from your little Scubby. Isn't that a bit cruel? I feel dogs should be left as it is. Yes we can prevent cancer, but I don't think it is very common to get that though.
