Just want to warn everyone of this person. The "Lowyat.Net User" i was dealing with was OffGamerSolution, email OffGamerSolution@live.com.

I purchase something from this person, paid and have not received the item yet as it was promised 2 days ago. Also provided a tracking number that doesn't exist when I call up to check.

He's been missing for 2 days already.

The name is LAI WAN LI <- Con Man

The maybank account is 114851049601

If you come across this person, please take extra precaution, and not trade if possible.

And if you know how can I find this person, please let me know.

Thanks. Your help is very much appreciated.

thanks for your post melt, i think the mods will come... very soon...

but i'd really like to warn everyone else as well other than tracking him down, i understand that the chances to actually find him is rather slim.

i've made numerous purchases on this forum and seems it's rather healthy community. just there are some bad apples out there, ruining everything. which really disappoints me.

anyway, all if you're reading this, remember this name and account number.

i don't have his IC. regret din ask. it's gonna be my must ask question list for my future purchase.

No IC = No purchase for me, no matter how tempting it is.

all the buyers and sellers can learn from this as well.

Edit: Anyone know who this is, please let me know.

Just My Opinion!
Maybe this guy got into some trouble or what. Some ppl are not brave enough to tell the truth of the problems they facing. Just give him few more days before taking further action. I'm sure he already aware of this dispute and will do something bout it.

cannot ask maybank ah? provide them the evidence of the bank in and your correspondence with him then say we want to make police report lah... the bank can track the guy down what....

just wondering.

thats why i always trade cod... cannot trust pos laju trades lah. maybe we should implement a reference system like Couchsurfing. that means anyone wanting to register here must enter their real details that will be verified. ie credit card or ic or billing address or something. but the info is kept private by forum owners la.

and also is good if fellow lyn members can reference each other who has traded with them... like me i've traded with 3 people so far successfully and i'm pretty new here. Its a great forum filled with great people and we can be each other's watchdogs to prevent things like this from happening again.

good point, but it's not easy as it sounds like.

doh.gif this fella just joined this LYN this month n u dare to risk ur money dealing by postage? shakehead.gif
so this will be ur first lesson here & hopefully for others too..

but to think positively (although i'm not quite confident), i agree with bro '100% Ori Perfumes', maybe he got some problem, just give him time, maybe another day or two, before taking any further actions,.... so for that, i'll pray u can settle this problem accordingly

p/s: my first deal via postage only done about 2 months after i joined this forum, and i only bought items by postage from senior member (with stars 3 or above), and still doing that until now thumbup.gif

NEVER bank in to the newbie that recently join the forum,
go for COD,
if the seller dun want, i rather cancel my order instead of being conned. whistling.gif
