...no matter how physically fit, can't run along walls !
Its release is May 2010 ! OMG... that's ages away ! More than a year away... hope to see awesome visual effects and some momentous game-to-movie moments. Looks set to be the best video game movie adaptation. The people are in it, but are the critics and fans going to love it ? |

QUOTE(firedauz @ Nov 3 2009, 04:53 PM) Wow! I must say... for a video game adaptation, this is looking stellar! Could just turn out to be the best video game movie adaptation ever. Love the visual effects and absolutely love the direction they have taken... looks and feel very Prince-of-Persia-ish. |

There is a Digital 2D version? If that's the case, awesome.

Watched the movie yesterday (2D). I must say going in I expected this to be a "good" video game adaptation in fact probably the best adaptation thus far.
After the movie was over I realized we are yet to have a true, one-hit super video game to movie adaptation. Perhaps the ditched Peter Jackson "Halo" would have done it, or perhaps Jerry Bruckheimer's attempt to make "Bioshock". Why? Because "Prince of Persia" had wafer thin plot, cheesy dialogues and a bad case of a white dude in playing a Persian prince with a weird, weird, weird accent. This is a typical popcorn flick - - watch it and forget it type. This is a 7/10 at the most. It is not bad, but the stunning visuals that was witnessed in the trailer is diminished by the lack of quality on all other fronts. It is like wrapping a rough stone with a sheet of gold. The 'content' is messy and not too pretty, only the outsides hold it together. |
