I think a numbered system is a very good idea!

Not only it prevents queue jumpers, it also prevents crowd congestion and also allows more freedom for the participants.. all the organizers need to do is announce the numbers via a loudspeaker or something and they can go to the counter and collect their copy of the game.

It's also fair for me because I'll be doing press work AND get the game as well, and if I can't queue for the LE, which I most probably can't, all my effort will be in vain at least with a numbering system I can collect my number, do my press work and go home happy and contented

You can't go wrong with a numbers system. It's easy for the organisers and fair for the participants. At least there will be no "how come come I was here earlier but he got it first?" disputes among the participants. If they fail to get their LE, it's because they didn't come early enough and get a good number, full stop. No more controversies.

I'm all for the numbers system!

yup, and then the same numbers can also be used for the lucky draw..

1) person comes up when number is called, collects the game
2) the person's number goes into the lucky draw box
3) after the event, just draw the number and ta-da!

hee I forced myself to finish Portable Ops, (re)played 3/4 of MGS3, and read through EVERYTHING from MG1 to MGS2 (chronological order) of the story on Wiki..

.. and my exams are next week
